I am not always sure what to write about, but here it goes: As a fairly easy-going person, it doesn't take much to make me smile. Though I'm a little more on the quiet side at first, friends describe me as someone who is perceptive, a good listener, and a goofball at heart.
I currently work full time in the biotech industry and attend school. Although I see my life as half-glass full and have many short and long term aspirations, I still find time to relax every now and then. As someone who is physically active and fairly outdoorsy, I enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, tennis, and playing a variety of other sports.
I find people fascinating and love learning about others, however, I also prefer hanging out with smaller groups of people. It's always fun to engage in mind stimulating conversations about current events or to just sit and listen to what other people have to say either about themselves, or hear their perspectives on certain issues. Learning about other cultures also sparks my interests, especially since I haven't had many opportunities to travel out of the country.
Anyway, I am just looking for 'genuine' people to hang out with and see where things go from there. Ideally, as far as relationships are concerned, I am looking for intelligence (not always so much from a technical aspect, but from a more well-rounded sense), a great sense of humor (dry, witty, and sarcastic are some of my favorite types), and someone who is generally kind to others.
