I need a man who can stand a strong father also, but dont be fooled, 10 minutes in my families house and you'll be dying of laughter, we tend to be a bit goofy. May sound corny but its true. Which brings me to this online dating thing. I was skeptical at first but decided to give it a chance after seeing many of my friends have good experiences with it. So I decided “when in Rome,” and here I am. I’d like to think of myself as an open minded person who loves learning/doing new things. I try not to take life too seriously, although there is a time and a place. One of my favorite things to do is laugh. I like to make the best of any situation even if it is at my own expense. I surround myself with like minded people. Someone who looks at the glass half full and has a genuine sense of self. I also love being active, traveling, and being spontaneous. But I can also relax at home by cooking up a meal from scratch with a glass or two of wine. I treasure my friends and family and would do anything for them. My job can be very time consuming as it requires a bit of travel, but that just makes me appreciate the free time I have so much more. Whether I'm passing through an area a friend lives in or I'm in town I always make the effort to see the people important to me. Although I travel a bit for work, I always make time to travel for fun. I'm usually off somewhere at least once a month visiting friends or exploring a new place. This year I've already Gone to the DR, FL, and New Orleans and have trips in the works to Boston/NYC, Hawaii, and a few countries in Europe. I would really love to find an excellent travel partner. Someone who loves to explore historical places but also loves to hit up the occasional tropical destination. There are so many places left on my bucket list!
I love eating out and exploring new restaurants; San Diego has so many great ones! Wandering out downtown without a plan and spontaneously picking a new place is one of my favorite things to do. Unfortunately, cooking is not one of my forte's as cooking for one isn't much fun. I would definitely make an effort to start cooking more if I had someone to show me a few things and to share a meal with.
I love being outdoors whether it be hiking, relaxing at the beach, camping, waterskiing, snowboarding, or just going for a nice little walk. I get antsy if I'm inside for too long!

I recently finished nursing school and passed boards, so my name now has a fancy R.N. that follows it. I'm very proud of that and take my new profession very seriously. I am still a student, however, working toward my BSN through an online program and concurrently getting certified as an Emergency Department Nurse through UCSD. I work in marketing for a San Diego based restaurant company. If I'm not at work, you can usually find me at the beach, playing volleyball, or hanging out with friends.
