Meet men and women from Pacific Beach, United States. some very important facts about me that you should know: i don't like chick flicks; i'm allergic to alcohol; i love random facts; i have a slight addiction to ridiculously high heels; i love sports, doesn't matter if it's watching or playing them; when i was a kid, i would only respond to the name fred for 3 days. my friends would describe me as a bit of a smart ass with a huge heart. if i find out one of my friends is upset or sad, i will do anything to help them or make them feel better. the way i figure, it takes more of an effort to be upset than it does to be happy. so, because of that, i don't often hold grudges and try to stay away from drama. for me, laughter is a necessity in life. i often let my sarcasm run wild, so hopefully you can take a joke! :)
outside of work, my passion is soccer. if i could play every day, i probably would!! if it involves sports, i'm probably in. i'll watch almost any sport on tv, especially hockey and football. my teams are the ducks, red wings and chargers. don't ask me to root against them, cuz it's never gonna happen! because of my love of sports and how active i am, i would like to meet someone who is fairly active as well. no need to be working out constantly, but at least be up for biking around the beach or going for a hike every once in a while. i tend to be a fairly low-key kind of girl when it comes to how i'd like to spend my free time. i would much rather spend my weekends hanging out with friends at someone's house than going to bars or clubs. my idea of a good Saturday would be spending the day at the beach with friends, then cooking dinner and watching a movie. with that in mind, if your idea of a good time is drinking to the point where you stumble out of the bars at the end of the night, then we're probably not a good match. don't get me wrong though, i still enjoy going out to bars with friends every once in a while. i would just rather spend my time at the bars having a good time with my friends, not seeing how many drinks i can have before my allergy kicks in. (fyi, it's usually 1....dang asian glow!)

I think the best things I’ve come to know about being happy and loving well is to give people the benefit of the doubt, appreciate weirdness, and just....relax. Drama instigators, rigid rule followers, and people who see the world in “black and white” are not usually found in my close circle of friends, but I’ll hang out and have a good time with almost anyone. As a middle child of seven kids, I’ve learned to be flexible and adapt to keep the peace. I've also learned not to take myself too seriously or to waste my time sulking in a corner. You will see me smiling more often than not.
I've been in San Diego for two years and I have seen more of the library than I have the harbor. But I have absolutely fallen in love with this place...so my library days are numbered! As I finish up school, I am itching to get out, explore, and enjoy this city and all its hidden talents. There are trails to hike, paths to run (or walk, let's be honest), courses to golf, bars to tap, races to bet, music to listen, and [insert something new for me to try here]. I am always excited to discover something new on my own, but I'm more interested in sharing these experiences with someone special. So call me, maybe ;)

-I bought a Kindle so that I can read dirty novels and no one can judge me for it.
-I cry and feel terribly homesick after every single episode of Parenthood. But I still watch it.
-My family is the best thing about me. It's a big one (fast approaching 21 people), for no other reason than the fact that my mom "just loved being pregnant."
-There is always occasion for donuts.
-I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to history and politics.
Meet a soulmate from Pacific Beach, United States. I live on the west coast but have a straight up east coast kind of attitude since I've lived in Connecticut almost my entire life. I'm blunt and to the point, sincere, caring, and out going. Love to meet and talk to new people, but also shy and a bit hesitant when it comes to new social situations.
I have two small dogs that sometimes seem to consume my life with trips to the dog beach or dog parks And yes I dress them up in cute little outfits, its hilarious, get over it! . A fun fact, I like to play fantasy football. This has been my third year in the "Pink Ladies League", it is an all girls league with some of my closest friends! Super excited that I made it to the playoffs this year!
Since I've been out here on the west coast, I've taken 4 surfing lessons. My first lesson I actually did a head stand on the board riding a wave (on purpose), now I can't even stand on the board.
My circle of friends has really grown since I've been out here, and they really fill some of the void that comes with living away from the fam. Cooking is one of my passions, my nickname amongst my friends is "Betty". I love trying new recipes and entertaining
As for what i'm looking for in someone, probably someone who can put me in my place (nicely), competitive, funny, sarcastic, sweet and cuddly! Someone who's romantic, but not overly romantic. Someone who's adventurous, goal orientated, has strong family values, and lives a healthy lifestyle. Someone who can have a work/life balance, and has their priorities in order.
I always strive to be a better person, I know i'm not perfect and I don't expect anyone else to be. I have a strong work ethic, and have high expectations for myself. My work schedule is quite demanding, so yoga is mandatory at least twice a week to keep me sane. In some ways I'm a bit traditional, but i'm not looking for so much the traditional life/lifestyle. I don't like things to be the same or boring, I always need something to be changing, otherwise i feel stagnant.
