My journey to the Bay area was a long one. Once I left England I lived in Heidelberg Germany for 3 years, a beautiful place and a special time in my life. I then went back to England to take a midwifery course for a year. After that I went to Paris, France and had the pleasure of living there for 15 months. Next was New York for 3 months but I knew people in San Francisco, I came hear August 1976 and the rest is history. I do spend some time in the midwest which has it's own unique set of charms. I was a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manger for many year at San Francisco General Hospital and Clinics and patient care was always my focus.
I want to see more of the world but it would be so much better with that special person. My interests lie in South East Asia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam. Africa especially Southern Africa. I have been to Morroco, Algeria and Tunisia a couple of times, especially liked Morroco. Even went to Mali to visit Timbukto as I was sent there quite often as a child when I was naughty which must have been every day it seems.
Europe is always a pull, especially love France , Italy and Southern Spain and of course the British Isles.
I do volunteer work with seniors, usually more senior than me. I also chaperone children backstage for Ballet performances.
