Meet a woman from United States. I'm an independent (not needy) woman just looking for a good man to share some fun times with...someone kind, funny and honest. I believe the key to a happy, healthy life in senior years is to keep active...exercise, involve yourself in different activities and interests. I like 3-5 mile easy to moderate walks/hikes and bicycle rides. I've taken up crocheting since retiring attend a craft group weekly, taking basket weaving and gourd classes (fun). I like making things. Go to exercise class twice and week and walk 3-4 miles 3x/wk. with a group of women. Sometimes I get bored with girlfriends and my own company and would like to share outings & new adventures with a partner. Would like to meet someone who enjoys some of these things & would be interested in trying some new things. I love being outdoors. Good sense of humor, witty, sometimes irreverent, sometimes silly would be a good match for me! I need a man of integrity...someone I can respect who is affectionate, caring & fair minded. I like quiet times at home as well as jumping in the car on a beautiful day and adventuring out on the spur of the moment. I prefer small intimate groups to large parties. I am very close to my daughter and try to visit her once a month. She is a wonderful woman who works and lives in Los Angeles. I don't have any grandchildren :( but maybe someday. I am self-employed part-time now after working a full-time job and part-time for 14 years. I feel that this is the best time of my life and want to travel and enjoy life. Can't brag about having a boatload of friends, but those I have are long-term and we are loyal. I'm thinking about camping this summer but not sure that I really want to sleep on the ground anymore. Have two tents, & necessary camping gear/utensils.
