I try not to take things too seriously and I love to laugh at absurdity, especially when I see it in myself. I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes on my friends. I get more pleasure out of the process than in the result, which is good because not all the recipes turn out so well. My Greek salad always gets compliments, and I make a killer orange flourless cake which was developed for the Reagans by the White House chef, perhaps the only true thing of excellence that came out of that administration.
I also love travel, although havenРІР‚в„ўt done enough of it, and am getting more adventurous the older I get. I just took a trip to India with my daughters: riding elephants, white water rafting on the Ganges and hiking through the Himalayan foothills. The way I see it, lifeРІР‚в„ўs too short not to.
I love being outside, and taking walks with friends. I also love being on the water -- Kayaks, canoes, sailing, itРІР‚в„ўs all great. Participated in the Nike half marathon last year - power-walking - but itРІР‚в„ўs so much more fun to do things like this with a partner. Interested?
