Date a man from Healdsburg, United States. I'm a young (58) retired engineer who enjoys a simple and loving life. I want to share myself with an appreciative lady. The simplest things, like taking walks and going to the beach are what I enjoy most. Fancy restaurants are OK occasionally.
Meet men and women from Healdsburg, United States. What to say.. I am down to earth, Love to laugh, I tell it like it is, (in a nice way). I am honest, caring, kind (I sound like a fairy tale). This is so hard, talking about myself. I don't play games and I would hope you don't either. I'm not into dating a bunch of guys. I'd like to meet someone, I can enjoy my life with, go exploring, and just be, with what ever we decide to do. But we also have time with our own friends.
My children are grown and out of the house. I'm ready for the next chapter in my life.
Date people from Healdsburg, United States. I am hoping to find someone whose company I enjoy, to share fun things and good times. I value honesty, integrity, and humor. Please be fun and playful, but also able to have a serious discussion. Can you talk about your thoughts and feelings? Are you able to tell me what you need, and perceptive enough to have an inkling of what I might need? Willing to give it? Is compromise something you are able and willing to try to do? Communication is key in a relationship...
I love surprises of all kinds (well, good ones anyway) and you'd get major points for spontaneity! I would look forward to pillowfights, crying on your shoulder at the end of a bad day, cooking dinner together, drives up the coast, movies at home with a fire in the fireplace, chasing you around with a squirt gun, giving you a really special evening when you've had a tough day, and loving going anywhere with you! I know the best times in life are shared. I just want what I think everyone wants...ie, someone to care for that cares for me!
I am fun and easy-going and quite tolerant of shortcomings - I know I am not perfect, so don't expect you to be. After all, we don't get to be 50-something without some kind of "baggage", AKA life experience! I have learned to embrace mine and learn from it, moved on from the bad stuff, and am hopeful for more good stuff. I am optimistic (glass is almost full) and "solution oriented" - if it's not perfect, we can try to figure out a way to work around it...if not actually fix it! I am very close to my 27-year-old daughter (who lives in San Francisco), and I am also a dog lover (currently I have a border collie/golden retriever mix). I like sports too! Hockey especially, and football and baseball. I like movies, cooking, taking the dog down to the beach, festivals and fairs, farmer's market, etc, etc, etc...
Remember, life is not about avoiding the storm, but learning to dance in the rain!
Heres to giving this one more try...
