I think I'm intelligent, but everybody thinks that I'm sure. I'm as comfortable in a suit as I am in my ratty shorts and t-shirt. I have a great sense of humor. Like most guys, parts of my brain never developed past the age of 10 so I still think fart jokes are funny....sorry. I love good conversation, I'll take a local dive bar over a crowded club any day. If you like going to clubs all the time no offense, but I'm not a big fan of paying $12 for a drink while people bump into me all night. Besides, in my experience most of the people there are fake and have never said an interesting thing in their lives. I'm very opinionated and I think I'm right most of the time which is a dangerous combination, but I can admit when I'm wrong. I can be blunt to a fault, so I call it how I see it. I have a curious mind, and I love to learn trivial pursuit type stuff. I watch a lot of History and Discovery channel, but I'm also a sitcom junkie. My DVR is always recording something. I like to keep up with current events, and I have an annoying habbit of listening to talk radio when I'm in my car. Politically I'm a conservative, and I know that these days that's a dirty word, and I'm evil, and I must be racist, and I'm stupid, and heartless, and blah, blah, blah. Oh, I should also mention that I'm in the Air Force and my job has to be my top priority, and that's not going to change anytime soon. I work some long and strange hours sometimes, and on occaision I have to leave the country for months at a time. This obviously can cause problems in a relationship, so if that's a problem I guess you can stop reading now. So that's a little about me. As for my ideal date, I don't really have a certain type. Obviously there has to be physical attraction. One thing I've noticed about peoples profiles on here is that they are somewhat dishonest when it comes to this. Everybody says they want someone who can make them laugh and who is smart, but if they were being honest with themselves they would point out that they first have to find the person physically attractive. Other than that, I just really want someone I'm comfortable around. Someone I can't wait to see at the end of the day, and someone I can talk to about anything in world with but is also comfortable in the silence.
