Date someone special from Arizona, United States. I currently live in Phoenix and have done so for almost 40 years. I've also worked for the same company for almost 15yrs. I like to run to stay active and been doing it for several years. I recently ran the Oktoberfest 5k, the Phoenix 10K last Nov, the Fountain Hills 5k turkey trot run on Thanksgiving day, the 12K's of Christmas in Gilbert and 2012 Pat's run. I'm looking forward to running a few 5 and 10K's coming up within the next few months. Possibly a few half marathons are in my future. I've got my sights on Vegas for the half marathon night run on the strip in Dec 2012. Currently, i'm motivated to running 15 miles a week.

My family is very important to me and, fortunately (with the exception of my daughter), my immediate family lives within a 30 mile radius of each other. They include my parents, one brother, three sisters, three brothers-in-law, four neices and four nephews. When the in-laws' families are factored in, it makes for very spirited holiday gatherings. My extended family lives in Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland.
My passion is writing. I've spent time writing for print news and tried my hand at on-line magazine columnist-type writing but my goal is to become a published novelist.
