Date someone special from Phoenix, United States. I am a Spiritual person, but I don't wear my faith on my sleeve. I respect everyone's faith, and they should mine. I like sports, and play a lot of tennis. I recently won the Gold Medal in 2006 Senior Olympics (men's singles).
I'm an author and own a publishing company (semi retired). I have six published, self-help books that we sell on the net.
I publish for other aspiring authors, live in central Phoenix, and have a summer home in Prescott (both free and clear). I do not have a police record, am not in debt, am not sick, and DO look like these photos... only my hair is white (used to color it). I'm not seeing a shrink, and have no "baggage."
This is how I perceive me:
great Dad...best job I ever had (kids grown and gone now).
good friend...I have references!
funny/witty...depending on your sense of humor(!)
common sense...it's how I operate.
artistic... in my endeavors.
detail oriented...most of the time.
organized...it keeps me sane
selective..one-woman man (with the right woman).
affectionate...with my close friends.
toucher...with my one-woman.
lifestyle...healthy, into wellness, tennis player, nonsmoker.
survivor...I'm better not bitter.
spiritual...God has my back.
grateful...everything is a gift.
animal lover...and they love me back.
good cook... I like my own cooking.
professional...always deliver more than the contract requires.
patriotic...I love our troops.
traveler...have been to most places ...
My experiences have taught me to be upbeat, appreciative, and embrace each morning as a gift... I take nothing for granted.
Again, here’s what I want:
I don't NEED someone, and being alone doesn't scare me, I've done it well for quite awhile, but I would really like a soul-mate. An attraction that starts with the eyes, grows in the mind, and resides in the heart. Mushy? (I know).
I won't settle, but I would love to enrich my life with "a true companion". Everything is so much better when shared. This sentiment says it very well: "Once you find the right partner for the journey, love is no longer a destination... Love is every road you travel side by side."
I like intelligent, self confident women who are at ease in their own skin, and don't feel the need to impress. A woman who commands respect without being overbearing... with a twinkle in her eye, and gives lots of affection... in private!!!.
It would be nice (but not necessary), that my match like sports, but does have a good figure... Yes. I’m “visual.”
She could be "full figured/heavy," but SHOULD have pretty legs... that's important. I'm allergic to strong perfume and cigarette smoke. I'd like someone who knows how to dress, is financially secure (as I am), knows how to cook and entertain. I'm not looking for a "nurse or a purse," and I'm not going to be one...
My friends tell me I also have a Ph.D. in “Street Smarts.” I don't know about that.
I would like a classy lady, and everything that goes with such a person. Some describe me as classy, but down to earth. I have a ready smile, quick wit and believe in ?myself.
I work out every day except Sunday, (sometimes my organs quit talking to each other!)
What we both want is:
Chemistry. Lots of laughter to bring out the best in each other; best friends who treat each other with respect and dignity...
While I can stand on my own just fine, it would be nice to be part of someone's life...an equal partner to share the good times!
Of all things we accomplish in this life, I've learned it's really not about the doing. It's about the doer/s. Happiness and peace of mind, are about how much we appreciate the experiences we share, the situations we face, and the people we encounter.
So, if anything I said is of interest to you, please contact me and I'll be happy to tell you more!
And yes, I know this sounds like a lot, but if you've "waded" through this, and are still with me, I would love to meet you for coffee or a drink, and answer any of your

Date a man from Phoenix, United States. I'm a pretty well rounded guy. I have varied interests with a focus on the arts. I'm best known by friends and family, for my sense of humor, and creativity. I'm looking for a relationship with a partner who is willing to enjoy sharing my interests while I enjoy sharing hers, even if we don't have the same passion for each others interests. I'm looking for a long term relationship, filled with sharing, affection and love.
People see me as someone who has a great "up attitude" about life. My partner must share this attitude. I consider myself pretty flexible and accepting of diverse opinions and the interests of others. In fact, I would welcome sharing new interests that my partner may bring to the relationship. With the right partner, I believe we can enjoy a very pleasant life together.
Meet a soulmate from Phoenix, United States. I need someone who is kind, honest and have integrity. Must be affectionate and gentle and respect me for all the wonderful qualities I have.
I will never neglect him or disrespect him, I will be loyal to him and would expect the same from him .
I am a hard worker, always thinking about how to make him happy. I love people and is ready to go the extra mile.
Date single man from United States. About me: I work primarily in securities fraud and renewable energy (meaning I go after bad guys and plan the energy mix of the future). I lived on the ocean and grew up on the beach, in Honolulu, and worked in Washington, DC, for years. I graduated from President Obama’s high school (some trivia there; picture Dead Poets Society in the tropics) and went on to college in Berkeley and Cambridge. I’m increasingly involved in the music world in Arizona and back East (I serve as Chairman of the Board of a nationally-recognized opera company, but fear not; I listen to many types of music). I'm also heavily involved in philanthropic work, in the education arena. Pals say I’m outgoing (and I confirm this) and quick-to-laugh, with a dry, ironic, often irreverent sense of humor. I can also fix nearly anything around the house, including the roof (it's been done). But that's a story for another day.
Anyway, in light of friends' on-line success stories, I thought I’d give this a spin. I value brains, character and a sense of humor, and I enjoy women who are bright, easy-going, cosmopolitan, and kind.
I'm grateful to be at the point in my career in which I have the freedom to spend a good deal of time with family and friends. I appreciate witty and aimless banter and also lingering conversations with friends over dinner, on the issues of the day, and I’m an avid traveler and road-tripper: When I'm not at my cabin in the White Mountains, I'm likely exploring (or attending concerts in) NYC, DC, LA and elsewhere. When I'm in New York, I enjoy nothing more than grabbing a great dinner at Picholine and heading to the Met for the evening.
I also appreciate John Cheever's sensibility, which I'd say is mine, as well: "These stories seem at times to be stories of a long-lost world when the city of New York was still filled with a river light, when you heard Benny Goodman quartets from a radio in the corner stationery store, and when almost everybody wore a hat. Here is the last of that generation...who used to sail for Europe on ships, who were truly nostalgic for love and happiness, and whose gods were as ancient as yours and mine, whoever you are."
To me, this quote evokes the happiness that a life well-lived can entail. Please drop me a line if you agree.
