I am a Christian man with a positive attitude, not perfect but do my best to do the right thing always. I Love to conversate so i will talk and talk (haha). I have no drama in my life and like to stay away from people who do. I don't sleep around, that's Never been who i am. I'm looking for a woman who is Honest and faithful, that's a Must. Someone who has a positive attitude, and believes in taking our new beginning slowly. I am Very strong against drama and don't want to get involved with anybody who has unresolved guy issues. I believe life is supposed to be happy not sad. We should always believe in, trust in, and be able to compliment each other's lives with plenty of good.
I have a Strong faith in God, not the "bible thumper" type though. But believe in God as my guiding force. So i treat all with respect as i would like to be respected. I have never cheated on or so much as slapped a woman in my life. I always say those 2 things with pride, (testament that my mother raised a Truly Good man). I'm looking to go forward with someone who wants to have a Loving (like soul mates) relationship. I always look at the bright side of things, and try to make the best of even bad situations.

I'm intelligent, somewhat artistic, a little naive, and a little cynical, egotistical, humble, critical, and non-judgmental, easy to please, hard to impress, always optimistic. (Well..sometimes anyway.) There are so many things that I do like, from the intellectual to the spiritual to the sensual, there's just not space to do this justice. Sure, I like to travel too; however, a 'vacation' is more likely to be a trip to the mid-West for a family reunion than the long-overdue return to Europe. I've got a couple of dirt bikes and I'd like to ride more often. (I'm a Motorcycle Safety Foundation certified Dirt Bike Instructor).
I miss the security, intimacy, and peace of mind that comes with a stable relationship. Make no mistake: I am a man and I am looking for a woman. I like the differences and I like the possibilities when we are together. I like to make a woman feel like a woman. Interested? Gee, nail me. Imarighter first. Flip that around and include one of those squiggly a signs in the middle and that's all there is to it.
I watch very little television but I listen to NPR regularly. Occasionally volunteer during pledge drives for both KJZZ and KBAQ. For recreation or a get-away, I'll seek water destinations - whether it's an ocean, river, creek, canal, or an occasional puddle.
Music is another passion; I play in a couple of concert bands.
My preferences in a partner include wit, intelligence, expressiveness, and a sense of self-worth. Please be a genuine individual with an ability to find humor and pleasure in the tedium of everyday life.
Romance is nice, especially in the desert under the stars or the occasional moonlit walk on the beach. But, what about while sitting in traffic or grocery shopping? Those times are important, too, and usually a lot more frequent.
I'm looking for a woman who can bring that evasive "joy of life" to a relationship. Other important characteristics are a sense of humor and the ability to communicate with me..(That's a fairly important qualifier). Let me add that kissing seems to be a lost art. "Smooching" is OK once in a while... but I'm talking about that little tingle you feel when lips gently touch. And no matter when or no matter where you are, you want to feel it again. And again. And again.
Probably smarter than the average guy and you'll need to have a little something going on, too. Admittedly, "looks" aren't my strong suit so if you're holding out for your own gorgeous hunk, you might as well click on by.
I've got one of the coolest dogs ever and my house is a mess. It's not big but it does get lonely. I feel wasteful with just my dog and me. I can cook for two (or more) just as easily as one. Especially if they help with the dishes.
One more thing: I'm currently in an "underemployment opportunity." I'm in the transportation business. More to the point, I drive one of those blue vans you see hovering around Sky Harbor (or Mesa Gateway). It's not a career choice; it's a necessity. Long hours and low pay but I gotta tell ya' it's the most fun job I've ever had. Things are looking up and it sure would be nice to share special time with a special person.

I think I am a pretty well rounded guy (not talking body type here). I am told I have a great sense of humor. I hear "where do you come up with this stuff" everyday. I feel you have to look at, and live life, with a smile. I am hoping to find someone who sees life the same way.
My interest are varied. I love to read and chill at home, but would rather be outside. Like to golf and hike. I prefer outside seating whenever possible. I try to catch live music at least a couple of times a month...really love the blues but enjoy all types of music.

Please, please like sports, especially basketball. If you were an athlete yourself, all the better. I would love to find someone who would enjoy going to the park and shootin' some hoops or throwing the football around. I hope that you enjoy long leisurely drives, because that is one of my favorite things to do. A lot of my enjoyment is the trip itself and the chance to see some beautiful scenery and visit interesting, out of the way places. I also enjoy going to corny little tourist places, like the dinosaurs in Cabazon, CA, or the meteor crater in northern Arizona, or the General Patton museum. Yes, I am the guy who will go on the "dam tour" at Hoover Dam, or the hot air balloon ride (er uh maybe not the balloon ride; I don't dig heights that much). Sky diving, uh no, not happening.
Are you a good conversationalist? If so, fantastic! However, there are two subjects that I don't enjoy talking about: politics and religion. There are too many, far more interesting things to talk about. I'll leave it at that.
The following may be jumping way, way ahead since we haven't even met yet, but I want to put this on the table right now. I am a momentum person, meaning that when I am in motion, I tend to stay in motion. If there is something on your "honey do" list, ask me about it on a day I'm working. With enough notice, I will get it done for you. Just so you know, I don't have to be asked to do the dishes, take out the trash, or clean up after myself. The toilet seat is put back down when I'm done, and I do know how to use a toilet brush. If I'm in the mood, I may wash and wax your car or truck "just because", but don't expect me to make a habit of it.
Do not, do not, do not, give me your "honey do" list on my days off - ever. I like to sleep in when I feel like it. I will watch the game - you are more than welcome to cuddle up with me while the game is on - and I will be a couch potato if that is what I feel like doing.
Okay, going back to the basics, I love to laugh and I cherish a dry wit. When it comes to romance, I tend to take things slowly for the simple fact that I have been around too many people who have let their hormones and animal urges supersede their common sense. I also do not want to have conversations regarding "where we are" in the relationship; if either one of us have to ask, we're both in trouble. I'm sorry, but too many people over think the whole relationship thing and make thing far more complicated than they have to be.
Let's just get to know one another and see where it takes us. If there is something there, we'll each know for the simple fact that we will want to spend time together. If that changes, for example, I find travel to the arctic to club harp seals or you run an online satanic cult, then things won't continue. Simple huh?
If there is any doubt on your end what any deal breakers are for me, here they are: I don't like drug users, and that includes pot. I don't like drama queens, or short tempered bitchiness. Tattoos are a big turn off for me. Yes, I know that a lot of people have them, but I don't like them. However, that doesn't mean that I don't like you as a person, but it is a possible deal breaker. If you smoke and you are not trying to quit, and you have tattoos, that is a deal breaker for me. Chances are, there are plenty of men who would find those desirable qualities. I may even know one or two.
I am pretty laid back and easy going, I love to laugh and have fun. My personal motto is, "Learn from yesterday, live for today, and plan for tomorrow". I truly appreciate the more simple things in life, including meeting someone who cherishes them also
