That's what I love about living in Sedona. Sedona has mountains in the desert, and geologists tell us that at several times in the past, it was under water, so it used to have a beach or three. Now that all of the coastal beaches have petrified into sandstone, I figure it's a son of a beach... I love how many trails and canyons Sedona has to explore!
