I'm so over the "bar scene" and I'm looking for something more meaningful. I know what I want and people in the "bar scene", in my opinion, do not. If you don't like conservative values or have been told (and somehow believe) that conservatives are mean, no fun, back woods, bad people then we are DEFINITELY not going to get along. I believe in God, but don't attend church. I make good money but it's not a 6 figure income. I don't understand why sooooo many people can't spend less money than they make (even a dollar less!!). I live in central Phoenix and work as a math teacher in south Phoenix. I've worked with young people for many years both as a teacher and in ministry, and I do volunteer work as a mentor and working with families in need. This is a big part of how I exercise my faith in God and I hope those values of faith and living out that faith are important to someone I'm in a relationship with.
I enjoy traveling and visiting new places, although it doesn't have to be very far to be interesting. I don't get to do this as much as I would like, but who does. I did some traveling overseas more when I was younger, and since have spent more time traveling close to home. I spent a month in Mexico a couple of years ago, and I hope to explore more of Central and South america as I am able. I really enjoy photography, I enjoy being outdoors where I do a lot of my photography but I have expanded my interests over the years. This all started with one of my quirky hobbies, chasing storms. I studied meteorology for my undergrad, and have always had a fascination with the weather. So far I've been in eight hurricanes and countless other storms, usually when a good one rolls through AZ I head out with my camera and a rain suit to see what I can find.
