I thoroughly enjoy all that Arizona has to offer...hiking, camping, the weather. It's quite possible I even enjoy winter outdoor activities more than the summer. I'm an avid skier and try to ski at least 20 days a season. While I do enjoy skiing in Flagstaff, you'll find me on weekend trips all winter. I really like going to places like Durango, Co or Southern Utah. This year I'm trying my luck with a season pass for Vail Resorts...so, you'll find my at Breck, Keystone, BC, and Vail quite a bit.
A few years back I purchased an old Jeep. It's proved to have been one of my best choices. It's great for exploring the lesser traveled roads of Arizona, both Summer and Winter. Not into mudbogging with it...just like to explore. There's something about going out in the middle of nowhere to go hiking or camping that is appealing to me.
I'm originally from a small town, so Prescott was a good fit for me. I do like visiting the valley quite a bit, as my family has relocated there. I'm a guy that is way more comfortable in my cowboy boots, jeans, and a t-shirt than some designer clothes from whatever store. I enjoy going out with friends on the weekends but also enjoy a good night at home. I'm not a huge dancing machine...but I do attempt two step...and have been known to embarass myself on a dance floor or two. :)
In short, I'm a pretty happy, content guy who loves to spend time outdoors and to travel. I'm on this site looking for the same...because frankly, those activities aren't as much fun on your own...really, I need a partner in crime. If you're reading and still interested, give me a shout!

Life is very good, and is getting increasingly better. I enjoy the day-to-day stuff and have been fortunate to experience many extraordinary aspects of this world. I would describe my interest as passions rather than hobbies, most of which take place outdoors and involve sharing, and good eats.
I really love my work but also my free time and time spent with loved ones, it is all about compartmentalization… It is no coincidence I am an educator/consultant... plants, people, and culture have always interested me and I now have the pleasure to contribute to the good of all.
