I have always been one to put others first. I don't think twice about stopping along side the road if someone is broke down or out of gas. I know it's not the safest thing in the world, but i've been there. ;) I like being outdoors and am fascinated by nature, especially when it storms. My mom still tells me I should have been a storm chaser instead. I was taught how to snow ski when I was 4 by my dad who did ski patrol in Germany when he was in the Army. I have only tried snowboarding once and pretty much ate snow. Someday i'll buy a piano and take lessons. Scary movies freak the $hit out of me but I love them anyways and my music depends on my mood at the moment. I am very active and am usually on the go. I've played pretty much every sport at some point in time and still play volleyball and softball. I'd rather be outdoors doing something then inside at the gym. There should be an option that says average but athletic.
I currently work at a doctors office doing admin work and also have my CNA license. I volunteer for Hospice and thought having the extra knowledge would help. (Eventually I want to become an RN.) I also work part time at a restaurant that i've been with for the past 8 years. I keep trying to leave but how can you say goodbye to extra "play" money ;)
I'm pretty motivated and have a good head on my shoulders...... I think anyways lol. I don't go out to the bars much anymore so thought why not try this?

I'm terrified of scorpions.
I've been known to kill plants within a couple weeks.
I have walked the SGK 3-Day 60 mile walk 2 years in a row and am aiming for a 3rd.
My grandparents have been married 67 years and still going strong.
I've never broken a bone.
I grew up living on a lake and went fishing all the time but don't like to eat the fish.

Being a native so cal gal, I love the beach (spf 50, yes please) and all the natural beauty it has to offer. Downtown artwalk, the Getty, Griffith Park are some of my faves. I love finding new places to explore, whether its a hiking trail or restaurant or art gallery, and what a perfect opportunity being in a brand new state.
I currently work full time for corporate America and occasionally freelance as a make up artist on the weekends. Yes I have a busy schedule, but I always make time for my friends and family. I am hoping to start my master's sooner than later, but I am currently in limbo as to which program to go for... and the idea of taking the GRE or GMAT is not too appealing.
