I know I'm taking a bit of a risk here, but I'm going to start with my shortcomings -- so you know what you're getting into: I do, on occasion, swear -- the word a** is simply not leaving my vocabulary any time soon, it's just so useful in far too many instances, and there are times when only dropping the occasional "F-bomb" will make me feel better. I also have a tendency to drive a little bit too fast, even when I'm not in a hurry, and generally speaking, I'm not a morning person -- I stay up late fairly often, and sleep in. Don't get me wrong, I love watching the sunrise -- I'll just probably have to stay up for it. So if you're in bed by ten every night, we probably wouldn't suit.
Now for my good qualities: I'm not the least bit materialistic -- I don't care about the size of your bank account, where you live, or what type of car you drive. I have a big heart, and would do anything to help someone in need -- I've actually given a complete stranger my last $. I'm sharp-witted, creative and intuitive, and my friends say I'm pretty darn funny. I'm classy yet down-to-earth, a bit mischievous, and ready to take off for an adventure on a moment's notice (and adventure for me has included everything from a stay at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel to camping through Europe for seven weeks -- twice!) I love off-the-beaten-path destinations, good food (fine dining to greasy spoons) a really good story, and I even like sports (especially if you'll be patient and explain the intricacies.)
My passions are people, and experiencing life -- I value memories over things. I have an amazing memory, especially for trivia -- and I'm a great problem-solver. I also possess an uncanny talent for picking exactly the right Tupperware container after eyeing the leftovers. I'm easygoing and undemanding, and unpredictable in a good way. I'm as loyal and trusting as a Golden Retriever, and can sometimes be just as goofy! I'm active, but let's be honest ... I work out for the benefits, not because it's my favorite pastime!! I'm tactile, passionate and like to show my affection for my man; and I look for a man who also enjoys connection and passion.
My ideal match? Who knows. It's mainly about chemistry. But if I tried to envision him, this is what he might be like: fairly fit, active and health conscious, but not a fanatic. A great smile is always nice, but sometimes a crooked or goofy grin can just knock me sideways. I prefer a man who's attractive in a more rugged, manly way, and I have to admit, I've always had a "thing" for tall guys. Can't explain it, but there it is. It'd be perfect if he''s a good conversationalist, and doesn't always have to have the last word. And if he can fix and/or build things, well, that always impresses the heck out of me! I guess you could say that I'm looking for the yin to my yang, the man who isn't necessarily identical to me in every way, but who complements me. (And if he compliments me every now and then, that's O.K., too!)
