Okay, so down-to-Earth means that I care more about content than filler, family and friends take top priority, I value honesty, and try to be reasonable and see situations from more than one point of view. Unlike a lot of the females that I have had the pleasure of meeting since moving down here, I do not own a designer bag or a piece of jewelry that comes from a store with security guards. One day my friend and I went window shopping at such an establishment. We were trying to figure out the design of this particular ring, when the white gloved sales associate came by to take it out of the display. She explained that the designer wanted it to look like just a normal black diamond ring on top, but flip to the side and there was a face of a cougar to symbolize "the animal within every woman". (Her words, not mine.) Without missing a beat, I said, "Yes, that, or for the Scottsdale cougar." She frowned. The security guard laughed.
In all honestly, I am looking for someone that I can, down the road, call my best friend. Sure friendships have their ups and downs, but the good outweighs the bad and you have someone you love and can trust.
