Let's face it the bar is not it, plus I passed that phase already...grocery stores? usually awkward...gym? nah I get it done when I'm there so not usually the sweaty chatty type. Ok so now we have this thing called the internet which has replaced human interaction in so many ways, why not dating? Ok but I am a huge believer in chemistry, which makes this more or less a screening process...like a catalog. Flip through, see what you like and then if you decide to "try it on"; you may or may not like how it fits, so you either fall in love with it or hit the catalog again. Simple! Yeah right! Nothing about dating is simple or none of us would be on here right now! I have found that in my neck of the woods there is a very small pool of available men. The elusive eligible bachelor seems to be hibernating in his man cave because I have not had any luck. So if you are a real person and you match your photo and profile, have a job like me...I am a dance instructor and almost done with my BS in nursing, are SINGLE (this seems to be the tough one for some guys out there), like to stay healthy and fit but are not too madly in love with yourselves...maybe a hike or bike ride would be a nice date and who doesn't like a sexy workout partner, you appreciate your mom/family...mine is my best friend, and I am close with my brothers too, likes kids... I have an awesome 10 year old son and joint custody and a very healthy relationship with his dad, you enjoy sports....I love to go to a game and can appreciate some friendly competition, you like to eat....I love to cook but definitely also love to hit a good restaurant, definitely not picky but I mostly eat to be healthy and stay fit, and if you have a sense of humor and/or embrace sarcasm than we are off to a good start. The rest is chemistry and is out of our hands! I mean they don't sell that stuff in a bottle on the street, do they??? I am not desperately looking for someone, and I am not really into dating as a sort of hobby, but I guess I would like to know what my options are and who could possibly be out there looking for a girl like me.
