As John Mellencamp said - "Growing up leads to growing old, and growing old leads to dieing, and dieing don't sound like all that much fun". I'm looking for someone to have fun with. I have been raising my daughter since 1995 by myself, so I'm not looking for a mother for her or anything like that. She's a young lady now, so she's almost self sufficient. Although she is very intelligent and intuitive, it would be nice to have a conversation with someone of my approximate age, about topics of interest, and not about whether or not I think the latest hip hop album is good or not. I would like someone that is energetic, out going and fun to be with. Spunky and intelligent are 2 words that comes to mind.
For the most part, I'm kind of like that old pair of shoes that one has become comfortable with, and although there are newer, flashier, shinier ones out there, you can't bring yourself to get rid of them because they are comfortable and dependable. What I'm trying to say is - although I may not be the shiniest or flashiest model out there, I am comfortable and can be depended upon. (Never thought that I would be comparing myself to a shoe, but I'll give it a shot) ;)
I also enjoy the outdoors. I have a boat that I bought, and can't wait to put it in the water this year. Some other activities I enjoy are going to the shooting range, photography and woodworking.
Next to getting out on the open road and riding, I would have to say that my favorite activity is watching my daughter participate in high school sports.

My Job takes me all around the state which is nice flying on someone else's dime. I do get to see a lot of this beautiful state. I keep thinking everywhere I stop I want to live,, there is a whole lot out there!
