I am independent and can take care of myself but it is still nice to be pampered and treated like I am important or special. I am kind, caring, honest, and considerate. I enjoy the simple things in life - seeing the facinating things in nature that God created - mountains - streams - willdlife - rainbows, sunrise - sunset. I have lived in Alaska for 27 years and still get excited when I see a moose - bear - or fox. Being a true Alaskan - I do eat the game and seafood. Enjoy going for walks or bike rides. Not as athletic as I should be. I do own a treadmill but lately it has become a good coat rack since I do lead a pretty busy life!

I love the outdoors and you can find me there in any season. No one should be stuck indoors when there is so much to experience outside. I travel for my job and am not home very often during the week. I spend a lot of time on the weekends at my cabin, which is 2 hours from my home in Two Rivers. I have some sled dogs and have raced in the past but enjoy having them in the winter so I can play outside. I have travelled in Europe and the Middle East. I still want to do a trek to Nepal and see Greece especially spending time on the Islands. I hunt and fish as my food source. Would like to learn how to fly fish. Am entralled with the beauty of watching a dancing fly line. I like to fly around Alaska and I guess that is why I like my job so much.Spending time in remote areas is very soothing to me. I can dress it up and go into the city but jeans is where it is at for me. It is hard at times not being home a lot during the week. I am looking for someone to spend time with and do fun things. I've been alone for 16yrs raising my children in an environment I felt was needed-and I've been pretty much happy living like this-but as they get older and one of my 4 sons has left home to live as an adult, I know they all will and I believe it's ok to have the dream of a partner, in my life again, who will honor the marriage as God intended it to be, after forming a friendship as a foundation to grow on- not like all the free spirited modern people of this day and age-please don't misunderstand-I love to have fun and everyone I know- enjoys spending time with me-it's just that being a mom to 4 boys consumes my time and having fun has been with them, my church family and biological family as well-before I was just too busy and afraid of the dating scene-but I know I want to be with someone someday who follows God's word first and will allow me to do the same. :)

I've learned that no-one and nothing should be taken for granted, and that a moment in time could change everything, life is precious and should be lived with that thought in mind.
