I love to travel and I don't mind long drives. In fact I find them very relaxing. I also love animals especially dogs. I have always had a dog since I was a young child. I would have a hard time being without one for any decent period of time. Overall I would summarize by saying that I consider myself a nice guy with good morals who means what he says. When I give my word is always good. I want to find a woman who I can feel the same way about. I guess I'm looking for the beauty and brains combination that we all want! I've never liked trying to meet people by shouting introductions into eachothers' ear over way too loud music ... well it's no surprise it's hard to find someone that way! So I thought I'd try this out.
I like going out but tend towards a more chill type of experience. I like sports, comedy shows, smaller bars, concerts etc. I also really like outdoorsy stuff; hiking, camping and such. The foothills are great for low-key cruising, and we're so close to cool big cities here that there is always lots to do.

Lastly, I am so excited to be preparing to move off grid and here is what it means to me:
Group of friends and I are buying a very large piece of property
Each of us will have our own 5 acres
Build my own earth-based home
The home will use passive and active solar power, possibly wind and water generators
Grow/raise my own food, or as much of it as I can, and barter with those in the community
Homeschool my children and possibly try to have one more
Live life to the fullest with someone I love!
Lastly, The past year has been a time of great evolution and positive change for me. I quit smoking in June of 2011 . I began actually being real with myself and my eating habits in May and have lost twenty pounds since then...I have faith in myself that the healthy habits will continue because of the strength I gained through quitting smoking.....I am truly dedicated to being healthy, but at 2 pounds per week, it's going to take a while to get there! I am definitely looking for someone who is health conscience, but not looks obsessed. I am interested in all things natural and honest, flaws and all...they provide character and wisdom ....
