Anyway, regardless of any of my other traits, I think the most important thing in life is to have compassion and be supportive of those less fortunate. I'm certainly not the best in this area, but I do feel a spiritual connection when helping others in their weakness. It puts everything else into perspective. I don't have much patience with religion that does not look beyond personal salvation. I have recently become more involved with participating in competitive sports and would love to have some to share such experiences. In the last couple of years I have begun competing in triathlons and have joined the local tennis leagues. Triathlons make a nice excuse to take a trip to the beach! I also love my job as a Criminal Appellate Lawyer (a lawyer that handles criminal appeals -- not a criminal who also happens to be a lawyer). Overall I have been trying to balance the spiritual, physical, and intellectual. As far as the social area, I have met many friends who share my views and interests, but I'm still trying to find that special person to really share everything with.
