I did read most of them, and decided to create this "Q&A" based on those emails. Allow me to also start off by saying -with all due respect- quit the BS. Previously, this "About Me" Section was 3 sentences long, and every other email contained the following:
"I enjoyed reading your profile. Let's meet."
If you want to meet me based off three sentences, I can conclude you're only interested in "seeing" me for a weekend, and if that's the case, I'm not interested in "seeing" you. I'm looking for a relationship. Not necessarily my future husband, but I want to be wanted, and I wanted to be needed, and I'm tired of being every guy's play thing.
I DO like kids, and I do want them someday. But I'm sorry, I'm not looking for someone who currently has children. Also, if I *could* be your daughter, I'm not interested.
GENERAL ABOUT ME
I'm a petite girly gamer. I have over 300 titles across every platform, and I pretty much spend all my free time on my computer. I love pink, bows and dresses. PLEASE NOTE:
I'm listing more "CONS" than "PROS" in the hopes of finding someone who will see my "flaws" and still want to get to know the better parts of me.
PROS
1) I dress to impress, and that's how I was raised. My grandmother woke up at 4am every morning to make sure she looked presentable for my grandfather. My mother always looks good for her husband, and I do the same for whoever I'm with.
2) I'm not dating your money, I'm dating you. I grew up poor and I know money doesn't grow on trees. While (any girl) appreciates a gift, I don't expect you to shower me with presents. I don't expect you to pay for anything, but I do appreciate when you do. I am however, old fashioned in the sense that the guy should pay for the date; but I firmly believe that (with the exception of marriage) your money, is your money. While I enjoy a "real" date now and then, I'd much rather cuddle on the couch and watch a movie.
3) I'm rational and SLOW tempered. The glass is "half full".
CONS
1) I've been told I take too long to get ready. This is true. I need at least 2 hours notice before going anywhere "spontaneously." This is largely due in part to how insecure I am.
2) I have (what I call) Peter Pan Syndrome. I've been told I look anywhere from 14-18, and I'm actually 25. This will be beneficial when I'm my mother's age (who looks 5-10 years younger than she is), but right now... not so much. I'm EXTREMELY insecure because of it. I refer to it as Peter Pan Syndrome, because I feel like I (physically) never grew up. I wear a size 3 in little kids shoes, I still shop in the juniors department (size XS/S), I'm *very* small chested, and I have braces. The braces come off when my adult teeth come in (I had to have my baby teeth surgically removed at the age of 23). Hence why I don't smile in pictures.
3) I've been told I'm too needy. Although in my defense, the guy explained it as "Your too needy for my current state of mind", meaning by normal relationship standards, I'm not needy. You're busy, I get that. You're too tired, I get that. But is it too much to ask for a goodnight text message? Please don't sleep with me and then go 3 days without calling me. That hurts my feelings.
4) I'm boring. I don't go clubbing and I don't get drunk. I don't really care about traveling and seeing the world (I grew up a military brat) My perfect night is cuddling on the couch with the guy I'm dating and watching a movie, and if I'm alone, all I want to do is play a video game.
5) It's possible I set myself up for disappointment by spending a couple of hours on my appearance just for plans to be canceled. It does hurt my feelings to be stood up, so please don't do it
