Last time I went camping, I had all the comforts of home complete with blowup sofa and heater. I sang the national anthem in front of a couple hundred people at one of our last work functions, and I sing in a Christian band. I like to keep busy for the most part, but sometimes, I am perfectly content with pajamas, sofa, and a movie. I prefer small groups of my favorite people to large crowds. I went skydiving and loved it, but I get freaked out to walk through the garage at night. Go figure.
I find it difficult to narrow down what I am “looking for”, so I will start with the basics. I have a job/career I love. I would also like the other person to have one and relatively enjoy it. But I am a bit of a grammar Nazi, and one of my pet peeves is people who can't take the time to try to use proper spelling, punctuation, or capitalization in an email. Why are you paying for a service if you can't show that level of consideration for the person trying to read your message? I'm also currently having an issue with cut-and-paste emails. If you're going to send the same email to 100 people to see how many responses you can get, don't expect one from me. Reference something from my profile to show that you looked - even if you're just commenting on one of the smarty-pants things that my friends have put in here! - and I'll return the courtesy. I've taken up deleting emails that read "Hey, Daily 5" or "Hi, how are you?" or emails that *sound* like someone put thought into them before you realize it's a cookie cutter job that could be sent to anyone without alteration.
