Date a woman from United States. This is always such an akward thing for me to write about, never now what to say. So I decided to put the question out to some of my closest friends and here is what they say about me: genuine, caring, funny, outgoing, smart, beautiful, protective, family oriented, loyal, great sense of humor always finds the good in people try to never judge a book by its cover. I guess I am all of those things one thing it doesn't mention is that I can be shy at first and when people say I'm pretty or beautiful I get embarrased. Why? I'm not sure.
I have an awesome job that I love! I always look forward to going to work every day, I work an oncology pharamceutical company and the fact that I am helping people live longer makes me feel like I'm doing something worthwhile.
I have two kids both adults 20 and 18 and both heading to college, and I take great pride in knowing that I was able to help them realize their dreams. I have a son that is going to study art and my daughter leaving the nest to study history. My kids are my most prescious accomplishments.
I am now at a point in my life that I'm ready to get to that next level of meeting somebody and enjoying the next phase of my life. I enjoy many things, camping, going to the beach, day trips or whatever the day may bring. I do enjoy down time and love to quilt.

I am an attractive 52 year old mother of 2 boys – 12 and 16. They are great kids and I share custody with my ex-husband with whom I have an amicable friendship. I have pretty blue eyes, blondebrown hair. I have a few extra pounds (not many) but am working on that – just got back on my bicycle, walking the dog, using my treadmill. I am not the athletic type – I am not going to hike to the top of Mt. Diablo with you, but I will walk around San Francisco and find interesting shops and restaurants, I will help prepare the food for a BBQ in my beautiful back yard for some friends and family and I LOVE to travel – by car, by plane, by boat, by train. I have been to lots of places and have plans for many, many more places I want to see and I hope you do to! I will enjoy a great dinner we prepare together with a nice bottle of wine, or margarita’s if it is Mexican. I will snuggle while we watch a silly comedy, a serious history movie or a Bruce Willis shoot em’ up movie. I will enjoy your family as much as I will want you to enjoy mine and I will hope they can eventually all become friends.
I do own my own business and it is a start-up so I work a lot of hours. I take care of my Dad who has AlzheimerРІР‚в„ўs. He is in a memory care facility but I take him to the doctor, we go visit, we have him over for family events. He is a big part of our lives.
I have 2 cats and a dog. My Mom is a hummingbird (I’ll tell you the story later) and she comes around often to help guide me. I am a believer in something bigger than us but I don’t know what it is yet. I believe everything happens for a reason and most often we don’t know what that reason is until sometime in the future but then we go “ah ha”.
I am recently out of a long term relationship so am new to the market and a bit shy. I eventually want to find РІР‚?my person to grow old withРІР‚в„ў.
The things on my to do list include:
Learn to play piano
Get a metal detector and go out to the beach and see what kind of history we can find
Re-learn to speak Spanish
Learn to play golf. I started last year and havenРІР‚в„ўt yet picked up my clubs this year. I have wanted to learn to play golf for 20 years, so last year was a start!
Start reading again. I used to read constantly and it seems I canРІР‚в„ўt find a minute to fit it in anymore, but I am going to get back to it.
Go to a Giants game
Cruise the St. Lawrence Seaway
See the Autumn colors in New England – there is a story there too… I�ll tell you later.
Learn to Salsa, ballroom dance, and any other kind of dancing that we can do together on date nights.
I like wine, I donРІР‚в„ўt smoke (5 year anniversary of having quit was May 2012), I donРІР‚в„ўt necessarily mind smokers, I like Mexican food, Sushi, burgers, fish, chicken, steaks, Oysters, Thai food, Italian food and am willing to try most things.
I have a few great friends, several more good friends but am not a person with 200 of my closest friends to invite to a party.
I am in the mortgage business so the last 4 years has hit me hard like many others. I figure it is just a means of humbling me and my kids. We had a Nanny and a house cleaner and a landscaper. The only one left is the landscaper because I feel so badly for him because I think he lost almost all his customers and he mows the lawn and trims the trees and roses.
