I have been told by people (not just my mother) that I am an intelligent, funny, generous and caring man. I like to think of myself as well educated and open-minded. I love music and books. I am a self confessed "foodie" and a pretty good cook. I enjoy playing the guitar and like to go to the movies occasionally. I am a fairly good golfer and love to watch rugby (as I don't play any more) but am not particularly interested in most other sports.
Life has conspired to put me by myself for the first time in ages so I live a fairly uninteresting life. After a recent move I haven't established much of a social life and have few local friends. I am a professional who enjoys his work so I suppose that fills the social gap somewhat. I am from (and still spend quite a lot of time in) England but have not done too much other traveling in the last few years. I would like to change that.

Music is the soundtrack to life, just not TOO much new country. I enjoy some of the arts, some sports more than others, the beach and the mountains, good food, wine and fine chocolate. I learned a long time ago that it can't always be about me and that everyone has baggage. I like to go easy on things/people and keep the drama to a minimum. I have a few hobbies, mostly seasonal, but they're not overbearing on a relationship. I have a very sweet 5 yr. old daughter who lives w/her mother in GA; I talk with her almost every day and see her regularly. I also enjoy good conversation whether it is about politics, faith, world events or love.
Where I am different and look for someone different is I am confident about who I am and who I am in God's eyes. I am looking for someone who is confident in those areas, too. Not someone who is perfect or thinks she is perfect. Not someone who thinks she has all of the answers. Not someone who has no fear or problems, but someone who is self assured at her core so she can have an honest, meaningful relationship. Someone who knows she needs grace and knows how to receive it while understanding that her man needs grace and cherishes the opportunity to give it. I know that I need it and it is the greatest blessing i can receive in a relationship.
