I’m a Friend, Dad, and Son. At an early age, I noticed my life wasn’t anything like “Leave it to Beaver” or the “Brady Bunch”. Growing up in a small town in central Alabama was and is a treat. Life was simple people did what they said they would do. Both my Mom and Dad had 8 brothers and sisters. My Grandparents on my Dad’s side lived next door and my Grandparents on my Mom’s side lived across the field in my backyard and across the new 4 lane highway leading to the Warrior River through Hueytown. I had 61 first cousins all within 10 years plus or minus of my age and one Brother that now lives in Maryland. As a kid my life revolved around playing with my friends and visiting my Grandparents. We spent most of our time in the woods chasing each other throwing rocks, squirting each other with a hose, blowing up stuff with firecrackers and shooting BB guns.
I no longer enjoy the bar scene on a regular basis. Been there done that.

My recent PASSION is raising money for ALS research while my dearest friend battles this disease going on 4 years.

We helped build a school for a village and housing for a boy's orphanage. The people there are amazing. Building the brick walls was as satisfying as my most sucessful design jobs. My dog, Lily, in the photos died. I now have another Leonberger pup along with a rescue puppy. I don't like having my picture taken or being the center of attention.. My favorite time is with my
Family....2 sisters and 8 nieces and nephews. Enjoy my AUBURN UNIVERSITY tigers who won the National championship for
the first time in 54 years. What a BLAST!. A college education, hard work, and a quiet strong faith in God are important to me. Treating other people with respect, forgiveness, kindness, and being open-minded were taught in my home. I adore snow in the mountains, "hip hotels", Italian and Greek dining, massive limestone mantles, candle-burning chandeliers, balconies, drinks with my friends and dogs(Serabella and Violet). My girl trips are AWESOME. NOT into Nascar, Vegas, or Harley's. I love the New England Coast and belong to the Northeast Leonberger Club of America. Summer in NC mts., winter on the Gulf or Palm Desert would
be great. Regular coffee is great! No longer able to ski due to a horse accident.
I'm very creative and can come up with some random ideas. I am in awe of our MEN and WOMEN who are serving our country overseas. May God bless these people and their families. I'm sure you have heard enough about me, because I have become VERY TIRED of MYSELF.

I am a giver, not a taker - sometimes to a fault. I am compassionate and empathetic. I love kids, dogs, and old people (but they are getting younger by the day, lol!). I value my Christian beliefs and am, for the most part, non-denominational. I love to laugh!!! .... but do not like practical jokes that are mean-spirited. I'm a true romantic with a desire to have depth and meaning in a relationship. I believe in life-long learning and improving of self. I'm not perfect. I don't expect you to be either :o)
I am not a good camper (tent style) or a tennis player, though I have done both. In the past I have done a good bit of bike riding and swimming (and will again). The best way for me to enjoy the heat is beach-side (ahhhh, the sound of the waves), pool-side, or on the lake/river (can you tell I like water?). I would like to learn ballroom dancing before my daughters wedding (it's going to be lots of fun). I am not a party-girl (i.e. constantly needing to be with people), although I enjoy "functions". I have a passport but haven't traveled out of the states in a few years. I would love to do that again too.
I love sunrises and sunsets; music in small venues; the symphony; theater (movies) and theatre (stage). I like to keep up with current movies (at home or out) and best sellers. I look forward to eating out in places with great food and wine. I also enjoy small neighborhood places with burgers and beer or healthy meals at home.
I've been told I'm pretty and have a great smile (in high school and college, I was nominated for some of that "social stuff"). I am intelligent and well educated, thanks to my loving parents! I've been told I am easy to talk to. I like heart-to-heart conversations about philosophies, goals, ethical dilemmas, and the meanings behind art, music, and other current topics. I also like to laugh and have fun! I play piano enjoy photography. My children (late 20's) are the most precious things in my life.
