Meet people from Florence, United States. I think I can best describe myself by saying that I love to laugh, I like to be a blessing to others, and I have a desire to experience new things. I have probably spent the majority of my life worrying about what people thought of me, and being afraid to take chances, but I think I have now emerged into the person that I've wanted to be my entire life. I went back to school after 21 years of marriage and I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, but I do everything from tutoring, decorating, cleaning business, organizing, and dabbling in real estate. I love making new friends, doing things for people that will make them smile, dancing (mostly slow or "ballroom"), going out to dinner and listening to good music. I'm equally as comfortable in a nice dinner setting, as I am on the back of a motorcycle. I would love someone who would enjoy traveling and going out to dinner, trips to the beach (or anywhere there's water), but someone who is also just as contented staying home sometimes, grilling out, going for walks, or just sitting outside relaxing and listening to the birds sing, or the sound of ocean waves. I'm not much of a drinker and would prefer someone who didn't drink alot, other than mabe an occassional social drink or glass of wine, but I have been known to drink a pina colada on occasion, if it's "almost virgin". Lol. I would love to have someone who shares my values and knows how to treat a lady, and someone who wants to be made to feel lilke a king when he's out with me, but also wants to make me feel like a queen. Is that too much to ask? lol. Respect for each other and common courtesy are a must for any good relationship, as well as trust. Without trust, there is nothing to build upon. If there is drama present or bickering, then it is probably a good indication that you are not meant for each other. Life' s too short. If we are not adding to one another's life, then what's the purpose? I'm not saying that a relationship should be unrealistic, and there would never be any disagreements, but the manner in which those are handled and the common respect for the other person is so important toward nurturing a healthy relationship. I also take my faith very seriously, although I'm not into self righteousness, nor do I judge others. I'm very laid back, not hard to please, but know what I desire in a relationship, and feel that if the chemistry is there, then we will both know :) If any of this sounds good to you, would love to meet you.

I enjoy all kinds of things from a night at the Orpheum to a night in the local high school gym. You might find me at a local charity event in a classic black dress or combing the aisles of a flea market searching for a treasure. I was born and raised on a farm so I'm very familiar with hard work and don't mind it. Life has allowed me to experience some of the finer things and I don't mind that either! LOL! All in all, I'm pretty simple. I don't really need fancy....but I know how to enjoy it when it comes along
I have 3 children, my oldest son is out of grad school and living in California. My daughter is out of college and a new wife and mother. The youngest is off to college this fall so I'm anticipating quite a transition ahead of myself. I am a little anxious about it but also a little excited. I hope a loving relationship will help soothe the sting. I also have a great job with good friends and since I consider myself a student of life, I hope to take some classes- maybe sign language and stain glass making. :-)
Sunday mornings I'll be in church and I dream of the day when Mr. Wonderful sits beside me and holds my hand. I cook dinner at night and keep waiting for you to come up behind me and kiss me on my neck. I take a weekend drive and imagine the conversations we would have and the places we would visit. Obviously, a hopeless romantic but I believe romance is important in a relationship. I don't ever want to stop romancing my partner and he must feel the same. My primary love language is touch with words of affirmation a close second.
If you're not afraid to laugh out loud, dance in the kitchen, snuggle during a movie, and cheer loudly for your team then drop me a note. A quick text is nice and delights me when it's unexpected but the sound of your voice must take my breath away. Your lips must be soft enough to kiss yet firm enough to tell me no. And please.... always kiss me goodnight. Always. I'm not looking for someone I can live with....I'm looking for someone I can't live without!
