Yeah I know some of you are going to say that there are things in life that have to be taken seriously, and I agree, but “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, and if you can’t fix it, let it go". Stress kills. I love to laugh and love to make others laugh. I’ve never met a stranger. I can find something good in anyone. My sense of humor tends to run to the sarcastic, so some find it hard to figure me out at first, but once they do, they get that I just say what I’m thinking (or, sometimes without thinking!!). Open mouth, insert foot. But at least it’s never boring.
The good part: Age is NOT a factor to me. My last girlfriend was 17 years younger than me, and we were together 6 years. I’m NOT looking for a FWB, NSA or booty call. I want to meet a nice woman who believes that you start as friends, get to know one another and then let the relationship go wherever it takes us. I can enjoy myself doing just about anything from sitting on the couch with a DVD to bungee jumping (oh yeah, I’m a bit of a risk taker). I can enjoy a burger at McDonalds or Prime Rib at a nice steak house. Music is a big part of my life as I’ve played piano since I was 4. I spent 2 years in Nashville making my living playing on the road. Love classic country, 60's and 70's and some new music. No rap or hip hop, sorry. Anything to do with water trips my trigger too even if it’s just going to the lake at night and skinny dipping (ok, you get an idea what I was saying about my sense of humor...........but I do like skinny dipping!!). Family is highly important in my life. My kids are grown and married, but if you have kids, that’s not a problem. They usually like me, probably because I’m about half crazy and will play with them on their level. I’m not too old for tea parties and mud pies. Concerts, theater, street fairs, flea markets, Six Flags, water parks, all cool.
The not so good part: Women claim men are shallow, but I laugh looking at women’s profiles where the first picture is 20 years ago and then they throw in one current one at the end. That's shallow. At least I'm honest enough to use a current picture. Yeah, I've got some grey hair, but that doesn't define who I am. Try to at least get past just the picture and write me and find out that I'm intelligent, caring, romantic and NOT a liar. All the things most of you seem to be looking for. I'll at least have the courtesy to answer ALL mail I receive. How about taking a chance. And "soul mate"? What does that even mean? That term is so over used and I'm not even sure most people even know. They just use it. Also, if you can't spell, use proper English and punctuation or know the difference between there, their and they're please don't contact me. Those things all speak about who you are.
If that last part didn’t scare you off, I want to get to know you and I want you to judge me based on face to face, not emails and chat, and I'd like for you to do the same. If it doesn't develop into anything more than a lasting friendship, that's great too. If you're ready for an honest, direct person, hit me up. Hope to hear from you. I am outgoing, fun loving person with a great sense of humor. My friends tell me that I am sexy. I am in pursuit of a new career in nursing and this is very important to me. I have great freinds and family that mean everything to me. I am looking for someone to share good times and that has a good outlook on life as well. For a person that is joking around and having fun is usually a happy person. I am not looking to seriously jump into a relationship right off the bat. I believe in letting nature take it's course and it always does. He would have to be kind, attentive, (I like hugs), with rugged good looks. Sometimes...reading the last page or paragraph in a book can be fun!!!! It's kind of like reading between the lines of the story itself!!
