If you can dig these things about me then you'll probably dig me. My interests are broad and because of that I can usually connect with lots of different types of people IF the opening is there. In my work life I consult with small businesses with their business process, product development and advertising needs. I enjoy the outlet it gives me for my creative and aggressive sides. I work independently as I have found the traditional corporate world too stifling in many areas. That said I have tremendous respect for people who are able to make the demands of traditional corporate culture work for them.
Relationship wise I'm just now starting to meet new people after a failed marriage. The vast majority of my energy goes into work and my community interests so it hasn't been easy meeting folk who I want to date much less consider a long term relationship with. I'm not legally divorced from my wife yet, but that is a formality to be taken care of in the near future.

I'm definitely all guy and remember my roots, but my tastes have gotten more refined over time. So I like wine as much as beer (depends on situation and what we're doing), art house films as much as action movies (but please, no musicals! ), short ribs as much as a short stack (can cook a mean rendition of either, too). I love dive bars and dive restaurants. And I love the swankiest places in town or across the country as well. But I'm not a fan of franchise restaurants, even if they have cool lighting and blue martinis. So much in life is moving to the middle to appeal to everyone, or at least the target demographic -- be it derivative hollywood movies or cover bands or chain restaurants. Why not seek out the real, the genuine, the original, even if that means a few bad meals or bad movies?
