I'm laid back...simple....casual. Some would say "casually intellectual" but still simple. I'm comfortable either way. I've learned that I need someone who is also both...someone balanced.
I think I'm politically and socially balanced. I wouldn't do well with an ultra-conservative or ultra-liberal person.
I like doing anything outdoors...love the water, camping and boating. Traveling is always a good time, even simple road trips to "nowhere". I don't watch TV much. I like to watch movies now and again but I don't care to sit inside. I WILL watch news or football but will skip the games to be outdoors.
I love sports but don't play very often. For the most part, I spend my time doing things with my little princess.
My ideal mate is honest, selfless, committed and dedicated...... then.......flexible, intelligent and attractive. I'm value character more than "accomplishments" or personality.
I would love to have a successful family....a husband/wife team that is unstoppable and really CONNECTED.

I just kind of moved to Birmingham. That means I live in executive housing on the weekends and travel most of the week in Tennessee and North Alabama. I believe good character, attitude, and personality are the heart and soul of a person-and that these things are even more important than the things we see, touch, and feel. Admittedly, it is good to have nice things to see, touch and feel, however. :) One thing is certain: I am NOT looking for the perfect person-because life-and certainly not me-is perfect.

2011 was tough as I lost my Dad to cancer and my Mom to alzheimer's. Looking forward to a much more eventful 2012. I'm a sports addict,love to play golf,disc golf, and shoot hoops. I like to think I take very good care of myself and love to "slick up" whenever I can. I frequent Orange Beach in the summer, and really love the whole BEACH scene.
