I have been living in the south now for almost 17 years, but was born and raised in Minnesota, so of course I am a Vikings and Twins fan. I'm not only limited to watching sports, I enjoy a good movie, going out for dinner, or staying in a firing up the grill.
There is also something to say about sitting around with family and/or friends, talking laughing and having a great time.
I think I have a good personality, laid back, get along well with almost everyone and I have a great sense of humor.... living off of HWY 280 should prove that.
As for a relationship, friendship first builds a lasting foundation.

At 43 I am returning to the things I used to like when I was in my 20's. Scuba diving, cycling, motorcycles, weight lifting, I even went to a concert last week. Sure I was about the oldest in the audience but the singer was older than me! Some would call it a midlife crisis I think it is just me finally able to do the things important to me once again.
I'm not financially rich but am responsible. I have no payments/debt but the mortgage.
After over a year off I am again lifting weights two days on one day off and cycling three or so times a week. I could use a partner to ride with (mountain or road) but as off nov '11 you'll probably have to slow down a bit til I get back up to speed. Finding a dive partner even for some fresh water dives around here would be fantastic.
Some tidbits about me: I like the beach and carribean. I love camping in the southwest. I don't like camping in sweltering buggy southern heat. I do not like drama or arguing, I deal with it all day at work. My only drugs are beer, caffeine, the occasional gin/tonic, and aspirin. I think NYC is a great place to visit but a terrible place to live, I've done both. I grew up in Colorado but went to college in Florida. I feel saltwater fish tastes better than fresh. I like to hold the door open for a lady but expect a smile or thank you in return. I like to fish but have no talent for it. Little beats an evening by the fire/movie night on the couch with your mate.
