They don't spend every other weekend at Mom's they are with me full time (well one is in married now and lives in Japan). Ok, now that I have that out of the way, how many of you are still reading?
I am currently finishing my MBA while working at the VA Hospital in addition to the duties listed above. I lead a busy life but I always have time for good fun with great people. The person that I am looking for should have a relationship with God. I am happier now than I think I have ever been and the vast majority of that is due to my finaly developing THAT relationship. I have tried dating people before that were "not sure" or "that's just not for me" and it hasn't worked out well. One of my true passions is working with the Dream Center in Woodlawn. I have learned that I get so much more from "giving" than I ever could hope for from "getting"
I enjoy a little bit of everything from doing things with the kids (when it doesn't interefere with thier social lives), Fine dinning, a good show or movie, and enjoying nature and all it has to offer. I love to camp but I'm building a cabin because I have learned that I don't like tents. I also love to experiment in the kitchen. I'm a great cook but average cleaner in there.
I like to think that I love with all that I have and am. I have been divorced for a little over 14 years now and although I have dated some, I have yet to find the right one. That ONE being someone that I can put up with who can also put up with me. I mean truthfully, that's really what it boils down to in the long run. I want to meet the one that I am excited about going to dinner with or just watching the game, the one whose purse I don't mind holding while she tries on a new dress, the one will ask about my day after we talk about hers, the one who will smile and say "Why don't we try that new sushi place" when she knows one of my kitchen masterpieces tastes like it came out of Hell's Kitchen.

Conclusion being, that what I am looking for is someone who gets themselves and is comfortable being who they are. Not someone who is complacent to just let life go by but rather someone who loves to live outside the norm from time to time when appropriate. Rainy day spent lying in the bed snuggled up or on the porch listening to the rain hit the roof. Lying in the hammock on a great fall day, sitting around the fire drinking some wine with friends or going to a football game. Going away for a last minute weekend trip or taking that cool exotic vacation that we always talk about. Isn't life full of enough challenges? So being with someone you want to be with should not be one of them. I am fun, serious when need to be and understand that life is what it is and what you make of it. I do not whine for attention and am self confident that I can compete on any level with anyone. My ego is healthy but not out of control and money is something that I trade time for in order to have nice things, enjoy life and provide for that special someone. I am as real as they get, fit, fun, energetic, enthusiastic, athletic and attractive.
