After 50 years of marital bliss, my life was dramatically changed in 2008 when I lost my husband to cancer. After enduring the turbulent storm of widowhood and loneliness, I feel blessed that I have not lost sight of the fact that IРІР‚в„ўm still a woman and I realize that neither man nor woman is of much use without the other. I look forward with great anticipation to companionship, kindness, and perhaps later the evolvement of love.
My pastime interests include, but are not limited to, the following: DANCE (ballroom, line, and square), live theater performances, dining out, grilling at home, CAMPING (RV style), chilling out in front of a roaring fire, TRAVEL, CRUISES, boating, sitting around the pool, reading, walking – especially at sunset, learning, playing cards, yard work, SIMPLE PLEASURES and QUALITY TIME ALONE with my favorite companion, and MUSIC (enjoy almost every musical genre but favor bluegrass, country, jazz, and big band) – all best shared with a partner. No one ever accuses me of avoiding new experiences.
