I'm from the East Coast and moved out to LA about a year ago for grad school. I love it here! I work at an elementary school. It's not easy but I love it. What I do is important to me. It's not a glamorous job, but I really want to help kids and make a difference.
Things that make me laugh are cheesy movies, sarcastic jokes, Louie CK, and pretty much anything from the 90s. I LOVE the 90s.
For fun I like to go out with friends, go to bars, play pool, go to the beach, dance, go out to eat, whatever! I'm pretty easy going. I like to have a good time, so wherever that leads me is fine by me, but I generally prefer to hang out at places where I can hear the other person talk. I'm open to new experiences and going on adventures. The next trip I want to take is a cross-country road trip. I love to travel. I've travelled all over Europe. I studied abroad in Italy for a year in college.
Other random things I like: Baseball. I'm a Yankees fan (I know...I know...lol). Yoga. Animals. Great White Sharks. Old school video games. Art. Photography (my major in college). Music. I have a weirdly eclectic taste in music. I listen to (besides 90s music of all genres...lol), indie, folk, rock, classic rock, bluegrass, blues, country, hip hop, and some r&b and pop. My favorite singer of all time is probably Paul Simon. I think if I could only have one album to listen to for the rest of my life it would be Graceland.

It may be really vague to say this, but my passion in life is doing what makes me happy and that tends to change - I don't mean drastic changes... but one week I maybe totally into photography and the next I can't put down my guitar.

I was a huge skeptic and refused to try it - but once I realized that's a silly way to live, I fell in love with the practice and am learning to appreciate my body even more.

I like singing out loud in my car. I like coloring in coloring books and shooting nerf guns. I’m a kid at heart but I know, quite well, how to be an adult.
