I'm originally from the east coast, NJ, VA, NC, but I packed up my jeep with everything I could fit about 6 years ago, got a place at the beach, a surfboard and couldn't be happier. I'm pretty easy going mellow in general, I love to laugh (side bar: do people ever write that they hate to laugh?? I mean, even evil people giggle! So my apologies for being trite. But I DO love to laugh!!). I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor in general definitely like to make fun of life. Most weekends find me spending some time at the beach, either in the water surfing or walking with my dog, out to breakfast and/or dinner and/or drinks, seeing live music somewhere like Belly Up, watching a movie, spending time outdoors in general. I'm definitely more of a dive bar person than an out at the clubs person, I like to wake up early and enjoy my day, but pretty content just hanging out at home as well.
I work for a big company in human resources, but I'm more of a work to live than a live to work type person, or maybe live to travel. My family lives back east, so I go there a few times to year to ensure my niece and soon to be twin nephews know my name, and I also love big trips - I'm planning an adventure to Australia at the end of the year. I'm also a scuba diver so love to squeeze in trips with my old dive buddy when I can.

I spent 8 years on the east coast - 4 in Philly for school and 4 in NYC which I loved so I have escaped the SoCal bubble. I moved back to LA about 6 years ago to be closer to family and for better weather. I love spending time at the beach (its now across the street from my apartment which is so awesome), going for hikes, pretty much anything outdoors. I love hanging with friends and family. My sister is my best friend. I like being active and trying new things. I have my passport and I am ready to go!

I grew up in San Diego and have lived here my whole life. Ultimately, I call this place home and could never imagine living anywhere else but I do love to travel all over the country if possible the "Dirty South"(my new fav is Nashville). I also like to venture to other countries and learn about different cultures and lifestyles. I've been to Mexico of course but have also been to Australia, NZ, and Fiji.
My friends and family are a huge part of my life and I value the time and laughter we share, which is often. There is nothing like leaving them and my stomach aching the next day from laughing so much.
I enjoy dressing up on the daily for work (4 inch stilettos included) and/or spending a night out trying new restaurants but can also throw on a pair of flippys and head to a sports bar for a good game or just relax at home with a good tv show and a home cooked meal.
My "Match" should first have a good sense of humor.
He should be open to trying new things and meeting new people.
He should be over the club scene but not mind venturing south when needed for a friends birthday.

I am independent, but am so because I have to be. Ideally, I'd have that perfect person on whom I can rely and he can do the same.... to have a blast exploring our surroundings and enjoying life together. I am most interested in someone who is active and who loves animals, especially dogs. Seriously, you must love (not just tolerate) animals - no exceptions. And, someone that is capable of communication and has the ability to listen is a must! I don't mean that both people need to constantly be engaged in talking about feelings, needs, etc., but unless both people are open, honest, and up front about what is going on and what they want/need, the relationship just won't be as fun and most likely won't last.
I also hope to find someone that knows how to live in the moment... and who can be present - not someone who is always distracted with his own life, obligations, business, etc. Super career minded and success is great, but not at the expense of spending some complete one on one time with your girl. And a little shy is fine (I can be too, although I am good at hiding it), but I tend to have the most fun with guys that don't check out in social situations (not that I am out all the time b/c I actually very much enjoy staying home). But, I am most attracted to guys that are friendly, outgoing, and gregarious, yet sophisticated (not necessarily in attire, but demeanor), and so are NOT obnoxious and constantly silly. And last but not least, I require a sensitive side too and a guy who knows when an opinion or comment is necessary and when one is not. Being a straight shooter is fine, as long as you have some tact.

. Welll I guess I should start by talking a little bit about myself and what I like to do for fun.
During the week I like to spend my time playing soccer, going to the gym and meeting friends for dinner or happy hour. On the weekends it just depends on whatРІР‚в„ўs going on, although I love when the sun comes out so I can enjoy being outside. I like going to the racetrack too since itРІР‚в„ўs nearby, and I love to travel so hopefully I can squeeze in a trip in my near future.
I enjoy meeting new people but can be shy sometimes, depending on the setting. I'm the kinda girl you can take to a big group activity, introduce me to 1 person and I'll be good to go on my own after that ;) I can be a little sarcastic sometimes too, so hopefully you like that and if I'm dishing it out, I promise to take it too ;)
