But I love music and love to go to shows and concerts. I play the piano, but itching to learn the acoustic guitar. I'm a huge foodie and love to eat. Thank goodness for my metabolism. But I am trying to get myself to work-out more often, haha. I like doing pilates and yoga (LA much?). I don't like watching sports on TV, but if you do, that's fine. I like playing sports. I love to surf. I can barely stand, but I'll get there! I love the beach/water in general. Tennis has been my sport since high school. I enjoy the driving range and shooting range. Hiking. Snowboarding is fun as well. When I'm not out doing a physical activity, you can find me geeking out with games, reading, sleeping, watching movies, etc. If you want to know more about me...just ask!

I am originally from Iowa and grew up on a farm. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 18 (also got married at 18.). I have an 18 year old son from my first marriage and my son lives with me. I bought a house in June 2011 and I have been working on it ever since. I've become something of a handy"man" and really like it. When I'm not working on my house, I'm volunteering with a dog rescue group or with the city animal shelter. "Must love dogs" should probably be my main heading. I don't trust anyone who doesn't like dogs. However, I am not the crazy dog lady. I also like classic cars and enjoy car shows. This makes up for my dislike of watching sports.
I am the most unphotogenic person alive, so I don't have a lot of photos of myself but I'll work on that.
I'm an insurance consultant and work in different offices during the week. I like my job and it allows me time to still have a life. I am training to walk a marathon in Santa Barbara in September, so that's what's keeping me busy lately.
