I was born and raised in San Diego... went to college at UCSB (four of the best years of my life)... then came back to San Diego for law school. My ideal weekend would include happy hour, hiking with my dog, yoga, the farmer's market, dog beach, cooking dinner for friends, live music, a couple nice sunsets, and some time to just chill and relax. I also love weekend camping and snowboarding trips. . I love to laugh. I enjoy being around positive people. While I like to have a Sierra Nevada or Guinness, play pool, and dance, I don't have time for hang overs! I love to travel. I lived in Japan over a five year period, years ago. I worked as a promotion girl, which was very fun. I gave flowers to and kissed the cheeks of car and bicycle race winners. I was an extra in a Japanese movie as a ballroom dancer, (no, I do not know how to ballroom dance:). The hilarious list goes on. I am grateful to have had the experience. I think everyone should live abroad. It was interesting being a minority in Japan and not knowing the language, the experience has made me a better teacher. I came back to America and took even more Japanese classes...I haven't had a chance to speak Japanese in a long time, so I know only a few words now (all the naughty ones).
I have been going to Costa Rice to see family the last couple of years. Beautiful place. I like Bali, too. Backpacked in Mexico...east and west side. Went to Paris recently...had fun, but really like beach destinations! I am saving Hawaii til later...can't believe I haven't been there yet.
When I meet people I think there is a reason for it...to learn something from them. We may not be a total match, but I wouldn't call it a waste if we hit it off as friends.

I'm a bit of an old fashioned girl in a scary new world who In my previous life, lived in the San Francisco/Bay Area and was a legal secretary and model and later moved into the travel industry in corporate outside sales and was also a Pin-up and nose art (the cute, smiling girls reproduced and painted on the noses of WWll aircraft) I'm a girlie girl ..
So for me it was back to the beach, Ocean beach beach that is. No swimmin pools, but movie stars are everywhere in California. I am recovering from MS and getting better with balance all the time now. I wish blessings to you and yours during this incredible time during earth's history..
