- I'm a pretty good cook, have some amazing family recipes (I bet you I can make the best marinara sauce you've ever tasted) but would love to know more. At some point, hopefully soon, I would love to take some cooking classes.
- Generally speaking, as long as people are respectful towards me, I'm pretty easy to get along with. I think life is just more fun that way.
As for what I'm looking for... It depends what I find. In all honesty, I work a lot and am slightly disillusioned by my experiences with men I've met in the "bar scene." Some of my work friends convinced me to give this a try. I don't really have any expectations but I'm open minded.
But if I had to give details... someone who makes me laugh, has eclectic interests, is confident but not cocky, smart but still wants to learn, enjoys sarcasm, is openminded, takes risks and just generally loves life. In terms of looks, while I have preferences... I have dated all kinds. So for the sake of argument, looks don't matter but attraction definitely does.

I'll always say yes to karaoke. Dancing keeps me young, laughter keeps me grounded. I'm a loyal friend that can be goofy or sentimental, whatever is called for.
On a personal level, I'm very passionate about improving my skills as a dancer, artist, and chef. Music is a *huge* part of my life. I see it live at least once a week, and spend a lot of time reading about it and listening to tracks of new bands on the rise. On the flip side, I recently saw Social D and love seeing classic street punk at the Uptown. (Ideally, you can hang with that.).
I borrowed a piano a few months ago and started learning to play, but I've had a lot of distractions and business that have chewed into my practicing. :-/ Trying to change that...
I'm not into TV (except Anthony Bourdain...love that man), but have been into movies since I watched the classics as a kid. My all-time favs include:

CAREER
Going on 18 yrs in high-tech public relations...right now at a fun successful startup.
But after that long in tech, I recently decided I need a change. So I'm spending a lot of my free time networking and trying to figure out how to make a living (financially) doing live music promotion. I'm getting there little by little. Where there's a will, there's a way!
Since I tend to be a high-energy Type A during the week, I look forward to weekend mornings of la dolce far niente. 'The sweetness of doing nothing.' I love wrapping myself up in a sheet to make good, dark coffee, and then hopping back into bed to drink it while warm sun streams through the windows or rain falls on the patio outside. It's therapeutic.
