Meet a girl from California, United States. I grew up on the East Coast and went to school in upstate New York. I love the outdoors- hiking, camping, the beach. I've been riding horses the majority of my life. There's nothing quite like running full speed down the beach on the back of a Thoroughbred. I ride at least three times a week.It's a great way to stay in shape and unwind after a hectic day at work. There's also a great sense of accomplishment from getting a 1200 lb animal to do what you want. I currently work at a Veterinary office, which I love. i love the feeling I get knowing I'm helping animals, what can I say my grandfather owned and animal shelter, so it's in my blood. I'm also an avid Philadelphia sports fan- football, baseball, hockey, I love it all. When I'm not in my scrubs or wearing my jerseys I like to get dressed up and go dancing with my girlfriends. I moved to California over three years ago with my best friend. She told me she was accepting a job out here and I should just come with her. A month later I was packing up my car and heading West. It's a great big world, and I want to experience as much as I can. I went on a lot of family road trips as a kid, and I've always loved traveling. I studied abroad in London for four months, and it was the most amazing time of my life. I have a goal to visit every continent (Antarctica included!), and so far I've only been to four. I'm looking for someone who makes me laugh. I want someone who will challenge me- get me out of my comfort zone. I'd love to find someone to travel with, even if it's just a weekend trip to go camping or skiing. I feel like most profiles have the same general gist, so I'll throw this out there- I'm a world record holder. True story.

Meet someone special from California, United States. I'm an ordinary girl whose NOT very typical... My friends always call me crazy as I tend to surprise them with random actions and/or words. I'd describe myself as independent, logical yet spontaneous (and YES, this does work out thanks to timing and priorities).

Crazy: Traveling Asia by myself for 9 weeks! (I know what you're thinking, I did NOT do the backpacking thingy..)
Independent: I can cook, clean, and pay my own bills? (Is that enough?)
Logical: It's part of my job.. (Can you guess what I do?)
Spontaneous: You will be amazed... LOL
Sorry to break the truth to you guys this early, but here are some things you should know about me..... I was told guys DON'T dig it, but I'm not sure if I want to or can change.
1. I'm tall, especially for Asians. There's really nothing I can do about it, at least I don't wear heels all the time.
2. I have short hair and I love it. If you want, I'll try on a wig but I'll look like a drag queen.
3. I'm not smart especially compared to guys on this site but I do hold a masters degree and I'm very good with numbers in a pratical sense.
4. Again, I'm very independent. Don't expect me to be a girly girl and whine about how heavy those bags of potato chips are. Besides, chips are bad for you anyways, slap me if you see me eating it!
5. If you get on my last nerve, I WILL beat you up. If beating you up might injury me, I WILL bite! If biting doesn't work, I will use my secret attack.
Things that I tend to do that might piss you off...
1. If we go shopping and I ask which one you like, I'll probably pick the one you didn't pick.... LOL... Don't try to trick me by picking the one you don't like, I'll just get both if I like them enough and can't decide!
2. If you cleverly believe that I like what typical girls like, this is likely to happen... Example: If you get me roses, I'll say "thank you hun, that's so sweet of you." Then when you're not looking, I'll pretend to accidently drop it on the floor and jump on top of it.... Haha, just kidding...
3. If you EVER snore next to me, I'll slap the sh*t out of you and pretend like it wasn't me. I'm NOT kidding about this one, I've done it to everyone I know!
Lastly, thank you very much for putting up with me. I apologize in advance if you are super hot and fabulous but just not my cup of honey jasmine tea or caramel macchiato (now you know my favorite drinks in case you want to ask me to coffee *wink wink*).. Good luck on your search!

I'm also a minor beer snob and novice wine lover. Currently trying my hand at becoming a whiskey connoisseur - it really just gives me a chance to go out and do some exploring of San Diego on weekends.
Travel is definitely a great stress reliever for me. One of my current goals is to travel to each of the 50 states. I've made it to about 25 so far, and I've loved each one for it's own unique feeling and personality. Personal favorites: Massachusetts, Hawaii, and Colorado. I also do a lot of journaling when I travel. Just love being able to be inspired by new surroundings and to be reflective. I am a huge history nerd. I love reading about American history and think that may have something to do with my desire to explore my country.
I'd like to think that I'm funny, sarcastic, etc, although I suppose that is all in the eye of the beholder. I need someone to keep up with some playful banter. Life is too boring if you take everything seriously.
I love watching sports. I am a huge Chargers fan and also enjoy watching soccer or anything else competitive. By nature, I am a very competitive person, so anything that is challenging or exciting is fun to me! I love playing sports or board games. Running and hiking are my favorites, mostly because of the opportunity you get to explore while exercising, but I also love soccer, ultimate frisbee, anything high paced and fun. I'd like to think that I'm a good loser, but that is yet to be determined . . .
