It's a fascinating field and keeps me constantly growing, learning, and relearning things that I apply to help me become a better person every day. I take pride in the fact that I don't have to be entertained by a city's attractions or rely on the "scene" to appreciate a place, but I can still have fun going to the occasional club or party.

My backup plan is to work at Black Mesa, but man their saftey record is TERRIBLE (if you got both jokes, we're soul mates, haha). There a lot of career paths I can take with what I have and I'm still seeing what lab job gives me the best pay/accomplishment satisfaction ratio. It's not necessary, but I would HIGHLY prefer that you have a background or at least a higher than average interest in science. Basically either someone who's a copy or my complete opposite (arts/fashion). On the arts note, I play the tenor sax, I have since I was young and at some point I want to learn the violin and guitar. I like pianos too, but I can't control my hands individually. It's a real bummer when you want to do the pat your head rub your stomach move. Or play drums. Or prove sobreiety.
If I had to define my personality it'd be more on the sarcastic/cynical side of life, but I can see the glass half-full from time to time. Like when you get two things from the vending machine instead of one. Wait, but that means that someone else lost their money before me...well, no sense in wasting feel-good Doritos. Besides that, I've got a great sense of humor, pretty much anything flies with me and can be turned into a joke. As for all the rest, you can gauge it for yourself as you get to know me.
