Meet a soulmate from United States. My life has always been rather straight forward, so I'll keep this little self-promotion along the same vein. I got my B.S. in biology in 2008 with a minor in creative writing. I've always loved animals, so it only seemed fitting that I would go on to become a vertebrate biologist (I actually have several pets at the moment). The outdoors have always attracted me, and as such I've done a considerable amount of field work in Latin America, South America, and the South Pacific. Camping, hiking, birding, looking for reptiles- these are the things I like to do when all other things are permitting. As a science minded person, I consider myself to be relatively logical and pragmatic.
On the other side of things, I have a wild and possibly terrifying (so I've been told) imagination. Simply put, fiction has some sort of fantastic appeal that has drawn me in for as long as I can recall. So, the only way I can express my imagination that can do it true justice is writing. I've been writing short stories (mostly fiction) for the past six years. One day, hopefully soon, I will be publishing these.
I've never been into sports, but I do enjoy weight lifting, running, and most of all, rock climbing.
I just finished my Masters of Science in evolutionary biology at a graduate school outside of Philadelphia. For those who care, my thesis focused on the molecular evolution of a specific group of lizards. Cool stuff, if you're into that sort of thing. I just started my PhD in the bay area and I'm super excited to be away from the east coast. I'll probably still be working on evolutionary biology.
I've always had a knack for writing, particularly fiction and fantasy. Since entering the biological sciences, I have been improving my science writing, which is an entirely different beast. I'm decent enough with computers and, weirdly enough, drawing and sculpture (its been a LONG time). I'm also an amateur wildlife photographer.

So I set out, to find what America is all about. I traveled, north to south, east than back west, and I landed in Colorado. I love to listen to music, but its not my personality to adapt to the music..."homey"lol. I'm just me, more interested in the world around me than how the world perseves me.

I'm a very adventurous person, love to explore. find new restaurant, vistas, pubs, clubs and all that jazz. I like a lot of variety, it makes me feel like your living your life to the fullest.
So on a normal day, in my life, in the USA, I'm either in working, working out, playing ball with some friends, or just laying around with my dog. On the weekends though I'm out looking to have fun, I snowboard, Kite board , hike, explore, read, go to the movies, and some actually normal things too. I like to live out of the boxes. My weekend would start after work on Friday night. I would go out with a few friends that I have known for years.
