I love sports especially my hometown detroit teams and my alma mater Michigan State. I am upbeat and energetic person. I enjoy snowboarding and the beach and the fact that I could do both on the same day in California. I really love the weather and the fact that their is a lot to do in California but it is tough being so far from my family who I am very close with. I have been in California for over 3 years now. Last year was pretty crazy for me (went skydiving, bungee jumping, traveled to the kentucky derby, preakness and other race tracks throughout america for work; I am up for anything when it comes to adventure). I am excited to take a rest from the travel for the time being and hopefully meet someone to enjoy some new adventures. I am looking for someone who I can relate to and have a good time with. I enjoy going to sporting events, camping, snow boarding, vegas...I am all for a lazy day or an adventure outside, a crazy night at a club, or wherever spontaneity takes us. When it comes to food i am pretty picky. I love pizza, steak, a good sandwich. Not a fan of seafood or sushi but I still am up to try it on occasion. I know there are many women who would say I have no ambition (career-wise), but I believe there is no better job than devoting my life to God and my family. I love my God, country, family, and friends. I'm pretty conservative in terms of my manners and clothing, and tend to be fairly soft-spoken (depending on who I'm with). I'm a lover of dogs, baking, traveling, and music/singing. If I could figure out what kind of job would allow me to bake, travel, and sing all at once, I'd be the happiest girl in the world! You can usually find me hanging out with my cute-as-a-button Goddaughter, staring through the oven glass watching a cake rise, at a movie or dinner with my friends, at choir rehearsal, or kicking back at home watching period dramas. I should have been born in Jane Austen's time. Whatever happened to people bowing to each other? *sigh*
I love books and often read several at once. I seriously need a Kindle; my life would be so much easier. I love games, especially ones that keep my mind sharp like Sudoku and crosswords. My family's holiday celebrations are often capped off with a cracking game of Taboo. I love classical music (especially opera), museums, and the theatre.
I'm looking for a kind, humble, hard-working man who puts God and family first. Ideally, he loves children and is a dog person. And a great sense of humor is a must! It would be nice if he also likes traveling, music (but really, who doesn't like music?), good food, a nice bottle of wine and history.
