I have a passion for nature and outdoors... hiking, biking, camping, snowboarding, and anything else that allows me to soak up the sun and the beautiful Rocky Mountains of colorful Colorado. The summertime for me is all about hiking, I'm on a mission to do all the 14ers in the state (I've only done 15 so far), in the wintertime i can be found out on the ski slopes usually 4-5 days of the week. I'm very much an optimist, and I think having a positive mental attitude is important; perception is everything. I'm not into playing mind games or dealing with a lot of drama. Life is too precious & short for that kinda stuff. I believe that living in the moment is vital. I'm also a music-aholic, mostly into old school Jazz & Blues, but have an appreciation for almost all genres and have hundreds of vinyl albums, & cd's (still have some cassettes tapes). I love going to see live music, whether it be at Red Rocks or at a small venue. I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years, but I'm not one of those militant or preachy types, I understand that being a vegetarian is not for everyone. It works for me and I don't force it on anyone else.. The type of person for me is someone who has a strong sense of self and who is passionate about life, and realizes that happiness lies within oneself, that it's not found by and through external sources. Someone who is selfless, compassionate, and gentle. Ideally, I would like to find someone with similar interests and lifestyle.

Likes to try new adventrues. I'm planning on sky diving sometime soon, possibly this summer and it would really be great to share that experience. Ideal match would have to be ok w/ me cooking for them pretty much all the time, because that's what I love to do. So thats a must! I enjoy going to see live music at RedRocks, and metal has to be at least a part of it. I'm not a full on metalhead/ hardrock guy, but would say that is the my go to music for my activities. I also like the blues (John lee Hooker), Adele, florence and the machine, Rise Against, NAS, 50 cent, old school punk, I would have to say I like just about evrything, except mountain jam band, and country/bluegrass. Not really into twangy! Kid is a definite sometime in the near future. I love to laugh and live comedy shows are the best. So if you like what you see then lets get together for a ride and some great food and see where it goes.
