I am a third generation Colorado native, and after living all over for 20 years for work I moved back to the neighborhood where my family originally settled, and have spent the last few years reacquainting myself with everything I love about Denver and Colorado. Even though I grew up in Arvada, I love my Highland neighborhood, and don't ever see myself heading back out to the suburbs.
My friends know that everything goes better with each other (except, perhaps, dental appointments.) I can’t cook to save my life. If it gets more complicated than pancakes I’m in trouble, so I never turn down an offer of a meal. My deal is that I bring the wine and do the dishes. The ironic part of not being able to cook? I have an herb garden.
