While I enjoyed it there, the universe called me back to Denver in June for a new and exciting job opportunity :) Now I live in Capital Hill.. I am very successful, responsible and easy going with an affinity for intelligence, a quiet confidence and a contagious laugh. Laughter, fun and an active lifestyle is prescriptive and a must have for any sustainable relationship. I love to learn new things and I find intelligence to be the most attractive part of a woman.

Well, what can I say - I finally decided to give this whole on-line dating thing a shot (I think I might have been one of the last remaining hold outs). So, here's my scoop.... I'm originally from the Southeast but have considered Colorado home since attending college in Boulder. I absolutely love the mountains and all they have to offer, although certainly need an ocean fix from time to time as well - I mean who doesn't love a good beach trip?! I'll tell you right now...I'm a bit of a smartass, but certainly like to think I can laugh at myself just as much as anything else. I'm definitely athletic and ideally would like to be with someone whom is the same and enjoys being outdoors and active. I have a major addiction to travel, but primarily international travel, and have been blessed with the opportunities to do a fair amount of it. While I have not been able to do as much as I would like in the last few years - it is never far from top of mind and it is a must whenever possible. Matter of fact - if I won the lottery today, I'd grab my backpack and be on a plane the next day - no plans needed, just grab and go, I'll figure it out when I get there. I'm also a bit of a photography head - so I suppose that would be my artistic side. I am a big dog fan (especially bulldogs), although don't have one at the moment. I'm a massive sushi fan, plus really enjoy Thai and vietnamese food. I definitely enjoy my job, which is really refreshing....and the first time I've been able to say that in quite a while. yada yada yada....
As for who I'm looking for:
It sounds stupid but, first off, someone that is simply cool to hang out with, can take care of herself/hold her own and be a bit of a smartass back at me. Someone that isn't caught up in knowing all the "right people" and taking themselves too seriously. Frankly if you're not willing to be kind of goofball, have some fun and be able to laugh at yourself then we probably wouldn't have such a great time together.

I'm a pretty content and happy guy...well rounded, easy going, laid back and for the most part - stress free! Though I’ve been told, probably accurately, that my attitude is “east coast”, I’m actually a pretty laid-back fellow. I suppose that’s the more relaxed pace of Denver living that’s rubbed off on me for the past 20 years. Truth is, even though I’m busy most of the time I’m really more comfortable with a night at home of healthy, home-cooked food and a bottle of good wine, or the ritual of backyard BBQing with good friends during spring, summer and fall.

So I'm a complete car nut. I love anything and everything about automobiles. I was born outside the United States but moved to California at an early age because my father served for over 40 years with the US Navy. We were lucky in a sense that we didn't move at all and all 3 brothers and 3 sisters went to the same schools until we went to college.I went to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in the early 90's and had a great college experience. I still keep in touch with some of my friends from college. After graduating, I wanted to serve my country and enlist in the US military but for one reason or another, it never worked out. I've come to terms with it but have the most respect for my fellow Americans that do serve.My current job working in the travel industry allows me to do just that, travel and experience different cultures around the world. I would love to find someone I can experience the wonders of being educated not from books but traveling and experiencing it. Is this you?I tend to work out 5 days a week if I can but most of the time, it's no more than an hour a session unless I'm playing pickup basketball or volleyball.
