I work my butt off during the week. So when the weekend is here, I like to unwind by meeting friends ( I do have a lot of friends that I've kept in contact with over the years that are here), going to the wineries or breweries, hiking, snowboarding, baseball games (I went to game 6 of the 2011 World Series!), sporting events, float trips, the lake or even a road trip. Anything that's a break from "the usual" is always worth it!
It's important for me to stay in shape, so I'm in the gym quite a lot. It's a good way to relieve stress (plus it keeps me off the streets and out of trouble!) haha. I also like taking my dog on long walks and hikes, and she loves it, which makes it more enjoyable for me! So, if you don't like dogs, it won't work out.
I love spending time with my family, my friends and my dog. I love being a role-model for my 2 nephews, they are awesome! I'm just as comfortable in a suit and tie giving a speech to a room full of people as I am in jeans and a t-shirt telling a joke by a campfire.
I'm funny, smart, witty, athletic, honest, supportive, kind, creative, flirtatious and just like everyone else? I want a woman that can keep me on my toes... even if it's just reaching for something off the top shelf. :-)
I am not interested in women who are flaky, overly picky and shallow when it comes to dating. A lot of people seem to expect to find "the one" based solely off of what's on someone's profile. When really, you don't know who you're meeting until that first date or phone call.
Too often, I come across people who are jaded, unhappy or negative. But that's not me and that's not you either.

I'm pretty laid back, like to joke around and have meaningful conversations (sometimes I like meaningless conversations too lol). I'm the kind of person who can get a conversation going with a complete stranger as if we've known each other all of our lives. I don't take myself too serious, but at the same time I'm very driven and determined to be successful in whatever it is I take on. I try to balance confidence with humility--I know who I am and have no problem taking responsibility for my mistakes. I love working with and getting to know people and what makes them tick. I'm passionate about several things--I love most sports, enjoy reading, watching a good movie--but perhaps my biggest passion is running. As for my current situation, I've been separated for over a year and my divorce is in the process of being finalized. I realize this may be uncomfortable for some, but I do think that being open and honest are an important part of starting any friendship or relationship--so I'd much rather get that out from the beginning and take things from there....just saying ;-)

Date someone special from Centennial, United States. Did it work? A couple years ago I tested out my Jedi mind trick powers. I was wandering around a corn maze looking like Princess Leia when a "monster" ran by us. After running by and roaring at us the "monster" turned back around and walked up to me to pinch my balloons. I told him with a wave that these were not the b00b$ he was looking for. His response was "why not?" *sigh* So perhaps I shouldn't rely on jedi mind tricks and instead say something else about myself. I strive for great experiences and memories. I tend to work hard and play hard. I enjoy being active in the mountains and playing sports like many of us in Colorado. I was born with a ball in my hand, as my mom likes to say. I spend a fair amount of time preparing for and recovering from weekend adventures to the mountains but it would be great to have someone to play around town with also. I doubt I've ever began this many consecutive sentences with I. I am definitely a relationship-minded dude with thoughts for a family someday but that will come when the time is right.
