Date men and women from Nevada City, United States. My interests run from adventure to venture. Since becoming financially independent (I don't like the word "retired") a few years ago, I thought I would spend more time traveling and finding new adventures. However, I've found it is the balance of adventure and venture that keeps my life fun and challenging. I miss one thing though, an attractive, active, intelligent lady in my life to share this lifestyle with. So, if I've winked at you, please write back as I can't read or write from here. If you're curious, you can learn more about me through my company, timelinedesigns, where you can send me your thoughts!
It's true we are more set in our ways now than we were earlier in life and one can't expect to find the perfect compatible mate we hoped for when we were 20. However, the fun and excitement of finding someone who has interests that might even partially overlap mine, like ripples colliding on a pond, carries the promise of new and shared experiences, with a little chemistry thrown in. And that is worth searching for.
I have interests and activities that I'll always do by myself, so do you. I enjoy getting my hands dirty with some fixit project or remodeling something. Or skiing, cycling or kayaking. However, going to a concert or play, a romantic dinner at a ski resort, hiking and canoeing, planning a trip, or just watching a movie at home, are things that I hope we both enjoy, and are better when enjoyed together.
Be warned though: I like the active life and finding someone with a bit of adventure in their soul would be a plus. I've been fortunate to do a lot of crazy things and maybe it says a bit about who I am - riding horses through Mexico and elephants in Burma, shooting video from helicopters in the Grand Canyon, over the surf in Kauai, and in the mountains of Ethiopia, rafting whitewater on the Bio Bio in Chile, sailing the Carribean, driving trips across the back roads of the USA, exploring British Columbia by train and bike, and hiking the mountains of Patagonia.
Maybe, at the start of a new relationship, it might be time to create a new bucket list that is a combination of things that two of us can do. So, what is it in your lifestyle that is telling about who you are? I'd like to hear from you. I think it's important in a relationship that we can relate to each other's experiences, dreams, goals. There is still more to explore and doing it together is more fun.
Meet single man from Nevada City, United States. Positive outlook, fairly well rounded, easy going with many interests to keep me fit and current. Pleasant personality and easy on the eyes. I have a good sense of humor and pride myself on good common sense. I'm into continuing education at school, some travel, tennis, reading, gardening, video filming and editing, exercise and definitely chocolate. Save the rest for later.
My match would be someone who is open, easy to get along with, who definitely has a positive attitude and good sense of humor. She would be sensitive to her mate's feelings but would be able to stand her own ground as the situation requires. Strong convictions that hopefully are consistent with mine. Romantic, sensuous, loving, not clinging, is required. Likes good conversation, quaint eating places, family, sharing....and the list goes on. This person should be physically attractive and fun to be with. Wow!! Once you get started it's hard to stop. But you get the idea. Will let the rest be part of the process.
