But over the years, I have learned very slowly that it is better to take note of people's mistakes than to make them my own. My mother is from the south. She raised me to be a gentleman and treat a woman a certain way. Manners area big deal to me, I still hold onto my old school southern ways and charm. I am loyal to a fault: family and friends. Those are the most important people in my life. Few have entered my circle, but those that do - are friends for life. I value honesty above all. I am extremely blunt, which is handy most of the time but can get me into ridiculous amounts of trouble - you will never question what I am thinking though. This comes with it a dry and sarcastic sense of humor. Most get it. Some don't. At the very least, I make everyone laugh. I share the same lack of common sense innate in all men. But I make up for it with a deeply held sense of romanticism and trust that I keep well hidden from view. Once you get to know me... Well, that is when the fun really begins.
I am tired. Tired of the bar scene. Tired of the immature opposite sex that insist on being chased around for nor apparent reason other than to be chased. Tired of the game. Well at least the game that goes no where. I am tired of taking risks, only to have them cave in on me. It wears on you and doesn't produce anything valuable.
And so here I am. What I will find is anyone's guess.

If I could describe myself in one sentence I would say that I'm like a jigsaw puzzle: you need to put the pieces together to figure me out. But then when have you put one together and not been happy at the end?

I was born and raised in the Bronx and just moved out here to SF to take a sweet job in private equity. I play with spreadsheets most of my day... ohhh yeah super fun stuff.
I'm usually quiet at first, but as you get to know me I open up and you'll probably wanna tell me to shut up and stop talking. A psychologist I met (not as a patient =P) described me as being introverted with extroverted tendencies.
I think of myself as the nice guy who finishes last, but I'm definitely not a pushover.
I can be impulsive and obsessive sometimes. My fluttering brain will latch on to something and want to learn everything there is about it and then for some reason move on to another subject.
I like to cook for people so ya you can come over! I grew up in a restaurant (I know very stereotypical) so I learned a thing or two.
I find extremely meticulous /anal people to be annoying. Funny in a Tina Fey/Anchorman way is really cool. If you think Friends was funny I don't think we'll get along.
