Date someone special from California, United States. I have an active sense of humor & it is the casual off the wall type but never at the expense of others. Am very sensitive to others & don't take myself seriously; find that laughter/humor is a turn on. We will be both sensual, sexual and incurable-eternal romantics who can be silly, giggling or spontaneous nut-cases at times. We would be a couple that can't wait to see each other or to just hear each other's voice but we don't have to be joined at the hip constantly to enjoy each other in a close relationship.
We would talk about anything and everything, resolve issues and misunderstandings without drama or theatrics. Though we might get out of sync once in awhile, we take into account that nothing ever stays running perfectly forever. So when those occasions arise, we let thoughtfulness, respect, quiet introspection & our faith in each other (and ourselves) be our guide...then hold each other warmly and with our open hearts close together, vow to forgive and forget and move into the moment of our awareness and awareness of the love we share for each other.
With love all things are possible and doable...but without love we are nothing &; have nothing. Christ said it best "Without love I am but a clanging bell"
You, who will become my mate, my friend, my confidante, my partner & lover would appreciate the simple or abundant quality of life available to us but you/me/we are definitely not 'material' or high maintenance types (one of my character facets involves hives, cramps severe lockjaw accompanied by eye-glazing boredom when around materialistic/high maintenance types...male or female). Ideally we would enjoy spontaneity, adventure, day trips, overnighters, hilarity, quiet and serene settings, waterfalls, thunderstorms, the sea, roller-coaster parks (not a deal-breaker), nature, music and each other in so many incredible ways that our hearts, souls and spirits would sing praises to us and to each other... from here to eternity!
Drum roll please...for the big finish!!
Where are you? I feel like Longfellow's 'Endymion' sleeping in the grove, before Diana's stealthy kiss (they had a plethora of kids after that experience...woo hoo!)...Hurry! The ground is really hard (damp too), the bugs are eating me alive and it's damp & cold out here!
Epilogue...It's all about unconditional love, that part of our personal lives that is so very important in making us whole and completely happy but is elusive and so conspicuously missing...and it's about this process of finding each other...Finding each other may sound easy... and it might be for some... I only know that I am on a dedicated quest for my last and greatest love... and the completion to life's great tapestry.
NOTE: I've been married twice (First time was for nearly 18 years plus and the 2nd time for just shy of-2 years). They were both great & growing experiences. The 2nd one was fairly brief as we rushed into it before really getting to know each other (my fault entirely as I insisted on marriage rather than co-habiting)
Thank you for considering this brief snapshot of who I am...and if you have a niggling feeling that indicates a 'we' could be in the making...please contact me. This is a possible dream...of that I am sure.
PS...I can provide a list of references that span from way early childhood chums to architects, engineers, artists, authors, business owners, business friends throughout the country..who are doctors, nurses, judges, educators, scientists, long-time neighbors and acceptable relatives (when graded on a curve)...but no lawyers.... or politicians (my friend 'ship' is in no way similar to strictly human cargo version of Noahs' Ark)
A NOTE TO MATCH.COM: ...OK, according to your 'counter', I've got 77 unused characters left in this self-incriminating blather...Do I get some kind of credit? bonus?...refund?...free tickets?...gold star? referral to e.Hominy? anything?...
